You were spot on.? funny, VW dealer stated, of $450 and we'll change the sensor and that will fix everything.... they even asked if the Transmission was rebuilt... I told them yes it was 6000 miles ago in 2019.? I told them to not touch anything and that I would tow to another shop (They didn't charge me ... thankfully).? I towed the Van to Euro Quattro... those guys did a free diagnoses for me and asked the same question about if the trans was rebulit.? They also placed on the lift, did a quick diag and told me the differential is bad. :(.? ?I had such a poor experience with the shop that sublet the rebuild of my transmission that I know that owner will be very defensive when I ask them to work with me on fixing this transmission.? I should've went the German Transaxle route instead of doing the rebuild.? Not sure how to approach some sort of "warranty claim" with this shop.?
