Re: 2002 evc speedo stopped and weird resistance from wheels

Sounds like a problem with CV joints- could be tranny- but sounds like front CV joint problems I've had in several VW's and AUDI's over the years. Start by looking at CV joint boots to see if they are torn and/or out of grease. Don't see the connection with the speedo sensor and fuel gauge though. Maybe a problem with differential? Have you checked transmission fluid levels? Any sign of a leak?

Help, any advice on what could've happen. A speed sensor i believe on top of transmission melted and broke.

Getting a tow, but wanna know if transmission is broke? What symptoms should I expect?? ?Was driving on freeway when I started to get hesitation,? fuel gage was dipping quick causing low fuel alarm going off and on. Can I drive it still?

?Also noticed now after stopping that steering is difficult, also van moves forward by keeping steering forced straight, but if wheel is turned in either direction the wheel jerk and click.
