My problem was the hose from the valve to the regulator( bad crimp)
and the regulator. Dropped the tank- replaced the hose and the
regulator - and all is well.
If you have a valve problem- you will probably have to replace the
tank- don't know if the valve comes off easily. Usually the fill
valve and the level indicator are OK!
I found that most propane dealers are not equipped to deal with
these problems. That's why I just ordered all new parts from
Europarts.com ( there may be other sources- don't know). I tried to
find someone to make me a new hose- but no takers.
