Well folks, another EV bites the dust.
Tuesday night I was coming home on a 55 mph two lane road and broadsided a
horse. I saw it in time to slam on the brakes and cut the speed a bit before
impact. The poor horse went flying and slid a good 30 ft. before coming to
rest. A state trooper had to put it out of it's misery.
I was the only one in the van and I'm fine, unfortunately the van is
totaled. I'll be looking for another EV MV, preferably a weekender. If I
can't find one in suitably good condition, I don't know what I'll get. Wish
me luck.
