I second that. When my "95 was totaled, I made a point of telling them that it
was a unique vehicle and that I expected replacement value. They ended up paying
$25000 for it which included a $2000 allowance for additional taxes I would have
to pay to replace it.

are going for in the area. That should be a lot higher than the NADA that
most insurance companies use. This should determine the value of the car.

My thanks to list mates who have provided leads on new EV's. I've contacted
a few already and will continue. My 93 GL was removed from life support
(officially) the other day and will be totaled out. Right now, the two
carriers are arguing. The other driver was at fault, and her company will
pay the claim if they admit fault. My company came back with the typical
low ball offer. How insulting.
