The problem is on the joint with the plastic lines. If you look at Moe
Walter's photos you will see the plastic lines go into another hose
which is covered with a spiral cover. The joint between these hoses
looks like a big bottle cap with the plastic hose coming out of the
middle. From what I understand there is a brass ferrul (sp?) that is
between the plastic hose and the spiral covered hose. The "bottle cap"
applies pressure to the ferrul and seals the unit.
I'm not sure if that is something that can be fixed without a special
clamp.
