My wife has friends over for quilting...and that's a good day to be elsewhere...anywhere elsewhere. I'll help raise and lower the frame but a gaggle of chattering women is beyond my ability to cope.

I tease my wife about buying perfectly good cloth, cutting it into small pieces and then sewing them back together. She teases me about "How would you like to each cat food for a month."
I know a guy in WV who actually had a business selling quilting fabric online...

Although I'll admit sleeping under one on a cold winter night is nice and warm. And our feline mistress, Beasty Girl, also likes 'sneaking' under with us. We let the temps drop to 68 or so at night.
Ours is not allowed on the bed. Woke up this morning and she was sleeping on my clothes that were laying on a chair.

We had a nice electric blanket...really liked it until it caught fire. Our cat of the time got in my face making crazy noises, when I woke up I saw flames, grabbed the blanket, wadded it into a ball and ran to the back door, put it in the yard and drenched it with the hose.
Was it showing signs of wear or what? Here we're on the second floor, so it'd have to go out the window. We've never had any trouble with them, except when they stopped working.

I have to use a heating pad for my left knee and I use a home made arc fault outlet to NEMA 5-15P to plug into a regular outlet. All our breakers are GFI/Arc Fault but I like an extra layer of protection. I do not want a heating pad to go up in flames around my knee.
No, that doesn't sound like it'd be fun at all. Nothing special about the breakers here, though the box did get replaced a while back.
