The first time I heard of Ray Electric Outboards
was when I bought a place on the river and wanted a
runabout but didn't want to lug a gas tank up and down the
bank. An extension cord sounded much easier! That was
about 1980. They still make the same motors, all with
the same ugly cover. I reminds me of a 1950's Johnson
gas tank. I've never used one, but they always looked
like the did the job.
