Looking at DC electric motors, I have come across
two very different types of motors, the wire wound
electro magnetic type( a whole bunch of manufacturers),
and the permenent magnet type (EWheel and
LEMCO).<br>In regards to use in an electric boat( or more
specifically in a sailboat, as an auxillary), what are the
pros and cons of each of these types?
