Re: Direwolf Decode Help
I recommend users to avoid using PulseAudio when possible as that sound system seems to "auto-magically" change inputs, outputs, levels, etc on a whim. Instead, use the ALSA "plughw" type

Re: Direwolf Decode Help
I set the audio device to "pulse pulse" in the direwolf config. Then, I turned off the onboard device in the pulse config. That way, Alsa doesn't take over the device. -Sam KO4HBY

I had to play around with the RTS DTS in the direwolf.conf to get it to work with a Easy Digi that we used as a APRS gateway/digipeater/tracker. John ¨C K5GT From: [email protected]

Hi Joe, Have you tested PTT by using "direwolf -x" in a terminal?? That tells Direwolf to transmit tones and is helpful in troubleshooting PTT issues.? If it still doesn't transmit after trying

Thanks, I'll try that. And ... I have found that Eterm works fine. All the other terminals have the same problem. Edit: /usr/bin/direwolf -t 0?? gives me a black background with white text. Thanks
Re: Grey Terminal Background
If you are using a shortcut on your Pi desktop or start menu, right click on that, and select Properties. See the Command in the picture below. If you are running direwolf from crontab or a script

Re: Grey Terminal Background
This was fixed in Direwolf v1.6 to cope with upstream changes in the Lx terminal application. You will need to compile your own version of Direwolf to get this new version as "Stretch" is EOL.
