Since I wrote my post, I was able to configure DIREWOLF so that it will TX upon boot-up.? However, it stays in TX and I have to use CTRL-C to turn it off.? I tried switching from PTT COM5 RTS to PTT COM5 DTR to see if that would correct the issue. COM5 is the Port that my computer recognizes for the DIGI RIG mobile connection¡ªstill, no problems decoding packets. There must be something else that I am not setting properly. I have configured MODEM 9600 since the FT-897D does not have a 1200 Baud setting in the MENU. It does have a 4800 baud CAT setting. Any suggestions? I do use the same connection configuration for FT8 with no problems.
