I don't know if this is the right fix Dennis, but I was finding
the Mapnik tiles in Xastir were quite jagged, along with the font.
I read that the fix was to press the F4 key, something about
realigning the Mapnik scales.
Sorry I have no further detail as to the reason etc, but it
certainly worked on a Debian Bookworm laptop.

I'm running a Raspberry Pi 3, with Direwolf and Xastir. The fonts
in the Xastir are just about unreadable on a seven inch screen. Is
there a reasonable way to change the fonts to some very plain? The
defaults have a shadow on them that totally blur things.
