Could/would someone summarize state of this ELS for me?
I have been bouncing around looking at various posts here but I can't come up with a clear picture of the status. 1. Is this a viable project to me to use 2. Where are the files and schematics? I

Re: A Drip Coolant System #MISC
Apparently the pump I ordered from China is theoretically in the country so I might see it this week. I found the leak in the reservoir that was causing pressurized air to mix with the fluid

John D Can you send a STL or Dxf of the pump and gears you printed. I maybe able to scale up and or down a tad to increase the gear contact. Thanks John L -- John

Re: A Drip Coolant System #MISC
The gear version is printed as one item. Theoretically the gears have a tiny bit of clearance. With shrinkage they had more than a tiny bit. I don't think it's supposed to be able to come apart. I

Re: A Drip Coolant System #MISC
I'd go along with it requiring some sort of carrier ... nice idea though. 3mm ID tube and the original motor will give you quite a respectable flow.? May need to speed control the motor as you can't

Re: A Drip Coolant System #MISC
Well that was a disappointment. I used 1.5mm and 40% infill. After 3 hours it came off the build plate and the gears were not locked. But it really meshes too loosely. In the photo you can see

Re: A Drip Coolant System #MISC
For entertainment I've ordered this from China. I've included the tubing because who knows how hard it might be to source. But having said that I'm also printing this since it doesn't need any

Damm, somewhere in my piles of stuff I have a peristaltic pump. that needs a top 3D printed. But I have not seen it in years. I sorta like the gravity drip method better than a pump. I also have a

Hey Julian, Here's a link to the post I've seen a peristaltic pump being used: http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/8061-Fogless-Mister-Systems?p=68214#post68214 The maker doesn't go into a lot of detail,

I can get a pump in about two weeks through amazon.ca for $58 Cdn. Way too expensive if we're going to use the "Obliterate North American and European Manufacturing" (ONAEM) approach. You can make
