Many thanks for your rapid response and I appreciate the full post.
It seems to me, and I am not an expert that there are at least 2 types of oiler systems
1) gravity "drip" for spindles etc , 2) pressurised using a more viscous oil.
My mill is a pressurised type, by operating the hand pump, the oil flows along the tubes and slowly?
finds it?s way between the dovetail slides.
So I will currently stay with what I have, if I do not like filling up the reservoir through the window, then I will?
get a bigger workshop. LOL
