using the catch up feature on LBC radio
Hi Henry and all.

I've had a look at the LBC site and got as far as this page: which is the link to the James O'brien programme for Yesterday. Clicking on that I get an invite to sign up for an account, so it would seem you have to do that to use catchup. There is a reference to a podcast, so you may possibly get the programme that way if its available as a podcast. Hope that is of some help. Ray. Many thanks, I think I have an account with LBC and wonder how you found the link? I just got completely confused with the layout of the screen. Best wishes Henry -----Original Message-----

Hi Henry,? I think I did a search for James O'Brien, Lbc catchup and got to the page that way, although I cannot quite remember precisely how I did it.

the page did not look to complicated but maybe it helps a bit I have a little sight these days.? I would have thought the play button would be accessible. I used to subscribe to a podcast of James O'Brien's podcasts which featured interviews he does. I do not listen to LBC or much commercial radio at the moment, though I do catch up with some Boom Radio catchup programmes, some of which I do manage to download. Much of commercial radio isn't much to my liking though with the hammering the Beeb has taken down to idoelogical corectness of the Right means many of us will be driven to commercial offerins more and more, which is no doubt the idea! I have not worked out what the attraction of TuneIn radio is as I for one like still to escape obtrusive and repetative advertizing when I can as I don't see the attraction of being brainwashed through repetition into buying products I don't much want anyway! Rant over! Ray. On 18/10/2024 09:39 am, Henry Miller via groups.io wrote:

I have now managed to locate the episode and will listen to the programme tomorrow. I think the BBC do a good job with its news content and documentaries and like you I find the commercials extremely irritating and a good excuse to visit the bathroom or make a cup of tea ?
