Has anyone downloaded the new update for the trek?

I did it from there website.

Apart from the maps, I have found no change to the trek!

Victor Reader Trek 2.1 will be available as a free update on your current Victor Reader Trek. You will be prompted to upgrade your Victor Reader Trek when connected to WiFi.

The fastest way to dowload the new HERE maps is to access them via our website, and copy them to the Trek via USB. Downloading directing on the Trek may cause a considerable wait due to the size of the files.

All stored landmarks & routes will be transferred across onto the new HERE maps.

If you would like assistance with your update, please call our technical support team on 01933 415800 option 2.

Andrew, I am not sure of the answer as to whether this is a software update or a new Trek being announced, but I think its the former.

Hello Ray,

this charger comes in two parts.? You have a cable with a magnetic end. You also have a small USB micro connector which slides into your charging port on your Stream.? the magnetic end of your cable can be magnetised to the small protrusion which sticks out from the Streams' charging port.? The theory is that you do not need to haul out your USB micro connector.? It stays put in your stream thus saving wear and tear on the charging port.
