Hi Steve ? I will agree with you regarding not supporting usb sticks etc, it removes that level of flexibility, being able to play files on different media gives us more choice. The other players I have here both offer the choice of using different media. ? The folders are a bit messy, with my other players, I don¡¯t have to worry if the files are in the wrong folders but not the case with the stream. ? I think the audible thing is possibly what is going to lower the sales for humanware but through no fault of theirs. ? ? ?

It should have one folder called Daisy, not $VR Anything, then the rest it should be able to read any audible media in any folder, such as MP3 files. ? Not necessary very much louder, but the sound is much better, crisper. Everyone that has tried it said it sounded much better.
And yes if you put files on an SD card or the internal memory in the proper folder ($VRText,$VRDTB, etc) it will see them!
However, we no longer support reading external sources like a USB stick. You'd have to copy the files from a stick to the internal memory or an SD card and insert it.
