You need to use a different call sign. You cant get on using the same call sign from different locations. My raspberry pi that runs my ratflector is KC2OON-E (E for experimental). Are you using a different callsign for the 2nd ratflector instance? I would think using the same callsign would be very close to the loop John warns against. I take down occasionally for system updates. I send out a QST stating the system is gong offline for a few minutes (or hours) for updates.
