Mike,
I use the Debian weezy distribution on my Pi and also you should be able to use the Pi's serial port and not have to connect a USB to serial adapter.

All,
Getting D-RATS working on a Raspberry Pi platform is on my "to do" projects list, probably for this weekend. I moved my DVAP to an RPI a few weeks ago and would like to do the same with my ratflector, provided D-RATS is stable enough on that platform. It looks like the D-RATS package are in the repository.
Is there a specific Raspberry Pi image preference we want to start with? If not, I'll probably start out with the image I have my DVAP loaded in.

We need someone that is skilled in Linux that can handhold us through the installation of Linux distros and apt-get inputs to make the DRATS network function under the Raspberry PI platform.
The issue is that most of us are not schooled in the Linux command line inputs to get the job done.
We need Line by Line input commands to help us understand the Linux command line input.
It can get as simple as plug in your Raspberry Pi then wait for the prompt to say>>>>>>>>
input apt-get somthingThatIcantEverHopeToUnderstandButInstructMeNone
TheLess......
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide to the DRATS community!
