Hi all, For a newly installed Flex Teams room, the client wish to turn on / off the TVs (2 x LG) automatically based on occcupancy. aside form the MX70 kit, I'm using an RMC4 and CEN-ODT-POE. I basically have the ?Room_Occupied / Room_Vacant? going to ?Multiple One shot? then to ?Crestron Connected ?. A senior programmer suggested i insert a ?Toggle? between the ?One Shot? and ?Crestron Connected?. Any reasons/advantages doing it this way? Thanks,

Hi, I?m using the ?SACN SenderDirectSockets” module from the SIMPL device database to control an Enttec Ethergate Artnet/SACN to DMX gateway. In general, it works. However, it seems as if the module sends out all 512 channels, even if I change only one of them. This is very unfortunate, as I?m using an Enttec S-Play mini to send out prerecorded scenes to my fixtures via the Ethergate in parallel to the Crestron processor. Is there any alternative to SACN module (Artnet would be OK as well) available that sends out only the values for the DMX channel that has actually changed? Thanks, Thorsten

I did ask this on the Crestron Discussions forum, but it seems to take days to get a response there. So posting here in the hope that you guys can help out. On a TSW panel, I can send an image to the panel like this: \images\icon - camera 100px wht.png The actual location on the panel is in: /display/swf/images On a TST, sending \images\icon - camera 100px wht.png does not work. The location on the TST where this graphic is stored appears to be: /display/app/project/assets/img Attempting to send: \display\app\project\assets\img\icon - camera wht 100px.png Yields no image What is the correct path to retrieve an image from the TST? I've tried a few combo's but nothing seems to work.

Is anyone aware if these new autonomic media servers integrate as seamlessly as the old ones? Do we still access the web gui and enter IPID and processor information to connect and get online, then just use CRPC joins on media object? I do not see the specific device to add to my program, wondering if I can just add it as an MMS-5? Or do these not integrate the same way the E series did? Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering if anyone has started to see this lately. It's been pinching me this week... When making or updating .UMCs I will often have version as the suffix. ex: Module v1.0.1 Historically when I SaveAs, the Windows SaveAs dialog has the .umc type already selected and everything is good, like for decades... This week I noticed that when I update/save a module ending in a dot-#, even though Windows dialog has the type, the module gets saved WITHOUT the .umc extension. It will be saved as file name - Module v1.0 (Not Module v1.0.1.umc) and of course has no file reference. This is an easy fix, except for the wasted time and process workflow, but just wondering if others have seem this. Not sure if this is SMW, Windows or general digital crap...but I've only just started seeing this. It could be my PC, Windows 11...

We have over 60 NVX endpoints installed in a building and a few weeks ago the audio streams stopped working on the NVX-351 and NVX-360 units, but still work on the E20 units. Video streams still work on all the units, but the audio streams just disappear from the stream list in Q-SYS Designer (the cores do the audio routing and processing for the building). If we subscribe to video and audio on a decoder connected to a TV via HDMI there is video but no audio as well. A reboot brings the stream back for 3-5 minutes and then poof! Gone again. IGMP snooping is enabled on all the switches, as is QoS, and no changes were made recently on the network configuration or other devices, so we're all a little baffled.

Hi All, I have not been updating CP4's to the latest FW versions as, though I don't use the HomeKit features, I have no confidence that there will be other issues related to the HK/OpenSSL that will bite me... Thus I've paused at the xxx_2.8003.00056.01.puf firmware for 4-series. Regarding 3-series (CP3 primarily) I have paused at the xxx_1.8001.0251.puf Firmware. The latest 3-series version is xxx_1.8001.0295.puf. release notes don't mention anything about the HK/OpenSSL issue so I'm assuming that this is not an issue with this platform. Can others chime in about your use/dis-use and experience with this FW version? TIA!

I'm going on hearsay here but I was told Lutron recently pushed from the cloud an update to their QSX processors. I didn't know this was a thing but apparently it is. Coincidentally, around the same time a system we have stopped being able to control shades. This is using the Simpl module "Lutron HomeWorks QSX Command Processor v1.3" which is in the Crestron module store, but I know it's written by Control Concepts. So we're curious if something they did broke this module's ability to communicate, or something with their authentication, or maybe it's some unrelated issue unique to this site. I'm pretty sure that the answer is no, but is there any way to trigger a reserved join number programmatically? EX: I want to launch the App Setup screen (res.Join 17242) from a running VTP project, but I want to make it a P+H instead of just a press on a button. TIA!

Hello, I'm coming from an AP3 system and just finished setting up Crestron home OS 4. I'm facing two major issues between the 2N and the TSW-1070: 1- Whenever a call is issued from 2N the touch screen will only display the outdoor camera with action buttons as long as the call is still ongoing so panel needs to keep ringing otherwise it's not possible to see who's outside 2- It seems that it's impossible to change the ringtone of the touch panel and I must admit I can't stand it. With the AP3 it was a bit more complicated but one a call is initiated a 3 seconds ringtone is enough to display the RTSP page with the action button until I open the door or reject. Also I was able to play any ringtone using http commands... All this seems impossible with OS4 or I'm missing something? Thanks.

I have a program that needs the Biamp Tesira v1.7 modules updated to v3.3, but they aren't like for like. The v3.3 modules all have an Integer_Parameter called "Command_Processor_ID", and the old v1.7 has a Buffer_Input "From_Module$", and a String_Output "To_Module$". Do I need to use an Analog Init to define the Command_Processor_ID? Main reason the update needs to be done is Mic level/muting as well as dialing pad don't work on v1.7. I read that if the processor was a CP3N or newer, v3.3 must be used. Not quite sure why the integrator (won't name name) did not update when they originally coded the program. I also can't seem to load the Biamp config file to a test Tesira, to workout the kinks at my desk rather than the conference room, which is used quite heavily.

Hi All, I have a DMPS3-300-C that I want to talk to a Mipro wireless receiver using RS485. I have done this with a CP3 (native RS485) and so I know that my code and wiring works. What I cannot get working is RS232 to RS485 conversion on the DMPS3-300-C. I have tried 3 different RS232 to RS485 adapters (ie 3 different models) with the cable that works on the CP3. I tried every available hardware handshake setting on the RS232 port. No joy. I have even tried using ST-COM (2 different units), still no joy. Has anybody ever succeeded in doing this? Hello everyone, I want to control DT8 driver using DIN-Dali2 module. I have already controlled DT6 drivers. My issue is when I add DT8 driver, it takes one address. How I can control a CCT led strip using simpl program. Currently I have CP3 processor and up to date firmware and database. Needs help/guidance to configure DT8 drivers. Has anyone attempted to control the Pentair Intellitouch or Easytouch using the Screenlogic Protocol Adapter? Pretty sure this is a long shot and there's no drivers or documented commands, but it does apparently offer a ethernet to Pentair bus interface.

I'm hoping to use one of these in my sons apartment but having a little trouble wrapping my brain around setting it up. First question is, is there any benefit to connecting via Ethernet over cresnet? If I use cresnet, i only need a 10 inch long cable direct to the processor. There will only be 4 sources accessed by 2 TV's. (Living room and bed room). I don't need audio breakaway. I'm missing something here. Looking at it in program mode, I'm not seeing what initiates the input and which output you want to send it to.

Using either the SSH or TCP driver in Extron GC Pro, is there a way to connect an IPCP Pro 550 to a Crestron NVX endpoint and tell it to set to a certain multicast stream, start video, etc? I have been searching everywhere for commands that could facilitate this, but cannot find anything? I am trying to do this without a crestron processor intermediary. This is similar to an earlier post I made, but this is spurred on by a question from a colleague who absolutely does not want to use a crestron processor to switch one D30 between two E30's.
