AV2 rebooting continously after program upload

I have had the exact same issue before. It was the simpl+ in the program that my av2 did not like. I used some older versions of the modules that had less simpl+ and all was good. This was a first gen av2 with the firmware like Lincoln's pro2 that I had an issue with.

Okay so far I have tried all the options:

1. initialize the processor
2. upload a blank program
3. unplug & replug ethernet and cresnet
4. reload of the program.

The Internal memory of processor is about 2432 KB. My program size for zip file is 1,016 KB and .spz is about 75 KB.

Total Signal names in my program are just shy of 1K. I don't believe that my program is too big for it to actually handle and in residential, programs are way bigger.

I tried the same program on a different AV2 without any hiccup. It has the same firmware and same memory size.

Any other ideas perhaps?

I am sorry if this thread is getting dragged along too far.

try to operate the initialize command from the text console

Did you delete the SPIsWork folder and Recompile All?

Yes I tried that first before initializing the processor and uploading a blank program

What is your dsp in this system? On the av2 I had issues with, the program was using BSS audio modules. The newest modules off of the BSS site would lock that av2 everytime. Reverted to some older modules and no more problems. I could load that same program that would lock the av2 and it would run fine on MPC-M10. I still would like to know why the av2 would lock though. The program was really small too: 80 symbols, 314 digital, 24 analog, 25 serial, so I know it wasn't out of memory.

i have biamp modules in the program only 3 dialer, mic mute and vol control v5.2

Well that can't be your problem. What other simpl+ stuff do yo have going on?

I had an issue where a comment with "" in the parameter field caused
reboots.

I didn't want it to put anything into console. I was only using as a
placeholder in the logic tree, and as a reminder as I built up the project
and added rooms, and devices, I needed to initialize their crosspoint IDs.
Otherwise it was upload, test, $(*@#&(*&, add the ID, upload.

Taking out the null comment fixed it.

the only other module is the Tandberg Cisco. Rest is just logic symbols.

Did you ever get this resolved? If so, what was causing it.

Hi Guys,

When I load new program in the processor, it keeps rebooting. I can get it back by bypassing the program and reloading the old one.

Any clue what should I be looking for in the program that may cause this? I only Biamp and Tandberg Modules in the program. rest are just buffers so I can run non core 3 on tp and test core 3 on xpanel and provide feedback to smart objects..

TIA

For now I had replaced the processor with a new one with exact specs which seems to work. I haven't had the time to troubleshoot any further cuz of work load. I might get my hands (hopefully) on it in next week or so. I will update the post if I come up with a solution.
