The TX from the Simpl Windows module should connect directly to the com

so
no need to include it twice.

The strings look good going out but no reaction from the TV, still
getting
absolutely nothing back on the Rx$, even if I turn the TV on and off
manually.

Might have to check that cable again tomorrow, the biggest problem with
this as you say, it may not work even if I do manage to get everything
right....

FWIW I have heard others reporting that the most recent crop of

Re: Discovery of idoc issue.

Ok...
This is what I've done is this right?
in system builder I've opened communications followed by ip table setup. It's showing me a ipid of 05 and a IP address of 127.000.000.001 dev id of 00. Is this my idoc s current IP address and do I need to enter my 192.168.1.69 here.
At the top of the page it says ip table setup -tcp AADSI

happening now is you are on two different network segments that won't

Re: TSW-750 Issues

Heath Volmer

In my experience, crossing your fingers will be the best thing you can do. Of course, stay in spec and use quality stuff. None of the things you mention helped me fix anything when we had issues. Just tons of time troubleshooting. It was always a problem with the FW or Smart-core-graphics 3. Keep in mind that you will be taking advantage of my, and others, exhaustive work on (and cussing at) this thing and shouldn't have anywhere near the issues. You can send me a check for pre-troubleshooting :-).

Lesson re-learned: never use anything new.

I guess if I have one piece of advice: develop it quickly without changing versions of things. I've become convinced that most of my problems now are from hashing through an 8 month old file that version changes had corrupted. Something to be very careful with moving forward.

HP Procurve 2520, I think. It's not the switches, although its odd that
you have had to reboot your switch. I don't think I've ever had to
reboot
any of these switches.

The problem was traced down to the bridge between the panel's comm with
the processor and Core 3. We were able to debug that the panel was
receiving the low level communication, but Core 3 wasn't receiving or
reacting to the messages. At this point in the process, they had
evidently
reached the end of what they could debug...

Hi All,

Not not sure if this has been touched upon somewhere along the

I'm sure everyone has their stories about the new TSW-750 panels. I need
some help. We have a couple of these systems in the field and both of
them
seem to have problems with the touchscreens just randomly freezing and
falling off line. We have updated to just about every firmware Crestron
has
put out even some of the beta ones. We don't even have video running to
the
panels so I don't think it a memory issue. The only common denominator
in
the two systems is a Pakedge SW16-16PB ethernet switch which is powering
the panels. It is a managed switch. On the larger job (10 tsw panels)the
switch would actually freeze and need to be rebooted along with the CP3
processor to make them work again. On the other job the client says he
just
needs to reboot the panel to make them work. But he does so a couple
times
a day. We have gone through the channels at Crestron sent in code etc
and
they can't pinpoint a problem. I and our programmer have been working
with
Crestron product for quite a few years and never experienced these kind
of
problems before. Is anyone else experiencing these types of issues and
if
so were you able to solve them? My customers are increasingly losing
faith
in our ability to finish the job and honestly I am at a loss.

lines.

OT: Stupid ClearOne VH20

Has anyone every integrated one of the ClearOne VH20's? Ever? And I don't even mean with our Crestron Systems.... Everytime we sell these we give the required info to the Phone Guys, they yes us to death and then on install we get..."O, this won't integrate with our system, they are going to have to use a Polycom phone."
End of day we end up dropping a pots line into the ClearOne and done, but still....grrrrrr phone guys
