Re: XPanel Scaling Up?? (And Badly)
Zac -- Either they¡¯ve buried it so well in Windows 11 I haven¡¯t been able to find it or I found it and it makes the xpanel app misbehave badly (see my original symptoms list) ¨C I seem to

Re: XPanel Scaling Up?? (And Badly)
@Lincoln - on Windows, you can disable scalling per app. I haven't messed with 11 it but on 10 it works like a charm. I have my main DPI at 300%, but apps don't behave well are manually set to ignore

Re: XPanel Scaling Up?? (And Badly)
True, Lincoln... not just macs. Anything with a higher-res display. Sure wish the XPanel software had scaling built in. Even just 50% and 75% would be better than nothing. I don't think the Toolbox

My favorite is how the (admittedly already very crappy) Toolbox icons look on a 4k display, I actually laughed out loud for longer than I probably should have when a colleague showed me this. I still

You are absolutely correct. I don't use them either. Life is too short to spend my evenings and weekends troubleshooting something that got updates I didn't ask for.

Avoid IFTT or any cloud connected services for your own home. Unless you love troubleshooting after work. It is guaranteed to stop working, sooner than you think.

I don't think this is an issue on your end. Maybe an issue with the Mac's settings for that particular application? Sometimes higher resolution displays have something other than 100% scaling as the

Re: Topics in Home Automation - New Article in Residential Tech Today
Thanks John. I completely agree. If you want to monitor your mailbox you will have to use the YoLink IFTTT service. To integrate that with a Crestron system I suggest using a Hubitat Hub as a gateway
