New processors command is "serialnumber" and it does return whatever is printed on box, not TSID.

Are the cams connected to an NVR? Alot of the Hik and ICR recorders have a channel zero stream that can act like a grid view, and you can stream that view to a panel.

Only one stream on x60 panels, two on x70. You'll have to use snapshots and update once per second or thereabouts. You can experiment with the updates. 1sec is a good place to start.
