Sort of. :)? The "new and improved" version in Toolbox seems to have removed some handy features...

Has anyone worked with a controllable thermostat that can accommodate a 3 stage heating and either 2 or 3 stages of cooling? ?Also, need to have ability to use remote temp/humidity sensors.

Crestron ipad no simulate Mode

Hi.

I realized that the vision tool version 6.0.02 to create an application for Crestron Mobile Pro G, the vt not enable the option to "simulate mode" buttons.

Not so if I make an application for touchpanel for example TPS-6X, where if you enable the option buttons to "simulate mode".

Why is this, what I can do to enable the "simulate mode" for Crestron Mobile Pro g?

Re: Crestron app - viewing camera remotely

yes, if you have it on the processor or in your program. ?Then open the ports need on your firewall.

CEN-RFGW-EX and ER (Extended Range)

Supposedly the CEN-RFGW-EX now supports ER (see release note below).
When I try to drag an ER device (TPS-6X) onto an RF ID under the device in SimpleWindows.? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: S+ Basic Question

Yea I have often seen that advice and actually agree. It's perfectly fine for simple logic but it's a total bear for complex logic. For me some of the complex logic either takes 30 steps in Simpl or can't be done at all (at least not by me) and I can get it done with 5 lines of S+ code. Those are the circumstances I will revert to S+.

Phil,
Are you talking about in Device Learner in Toolbox?
If so, there wasn't an option that we saw to save without carrier, either with the IR file that we "learned" or the Crestron Haivision "Set Top Box" IR file.

We also can't find DEAL anywhere...it's not something we've used, but recognize the name, but we can't find it online or on our Crestron PC anywhere.

Thanks,

help with creating lighting scenes

client wants to be able to create, edit, delete and rename lighting scenes in his system on the touchpanel.

something like this:
- press create lighting scene button
- pick the loads affected and set the levels
- save and name the scene
- the scene will then appear on the list if saved

is there a module that works like this?

Re: S+ Basic Question

Some friendly advice... figure out how to do things in SIMPL first.? SIMPL+ is not designed to build your whole system, it's built as an "escape hatch" when the SIMPL logic or string parsing gets too complicated.? It may sound like a great idea to do everything in SIMPL+ right now, but the collective experience of this group has showed that it always ends in tears.

Well I actually didn't think she was being patronizing I just figured (based on some other 'lame' questions I have asked in the past she really thought I had no basic programming knowledge. I cop to struggling with Crestron programming (Simpl Windows in particular) having come from a very different programming background. However, I will probably find S+ more comfortable after playing with it a bit the past few days.?And I found the problem :)

Thanks to everyone for the help and putting up with my somewhat lame questions.
