Re: Slave CP3 of RMC3
I would probably do the opposite. The cp3 can run multiple programs and has more ram, where the RMC would need a license for more than one program.

Re: Slave CP3 of RMC3
Rather than slave one processor to another, I generally prefer to run a second program on the second processor, and have the two processors talk by EISC.? Especially on 3rd gen processors, whatever

Re: Slave CP3 of RMC3
In console, on the cp3, use the ADDM command. ADDM [ip_id] [ip_address] ADDM 03 192.168.1.10<tel:03192168> Caleb Radecky | Manager, Online Products & Services Crestron Silver Certified Programmer |

Re: anyone ever receive DMX input from a lighting console with a Crestron Processor
Can the lighting console send out OSC or ArtNet? ?Those are easier to parse and react to over Ethernet without additional HW. Michael Block

Re: anyone ever receive DMX input from a lighting console with a Crestron Processor
The Enttec ODE should be able to do that. However, i¡®ve only used it for sending DMX before. I think the challenge will indeed be to keep up with the data flow. Cheers, Thorsten Gesendet von Outlook

Re: anyone ever receive DMX input from a lighting console with a Crestron Processor
The Chauvet DJ DMX-AN 2 can be used as a transmitter or receiver. I think the tricky part will be parsing the data fast enough.

Re: anyone ever receive DMX input from a lighting console with a Crestron Processor
It very kind of Ben to plug the Ultamation device; but sadly in this case it won¡¯t help as we¡¯re DMX out only as well. ?The old serial CG-DMX-512B has DMX in though.

Re: VC4 Nonvolatile Strings
This explanation is exactly what I would say I am experiencing. It seems like all the empty space allocated to the string is being printed with the string.

Re: VC4 Nonvolatile Strings
Matt- I ended up just hard coding these text strings with an MSEND. I don't think the users even knew they were editable before anyway. That might be the easiest option in your room too. -- Josh Winn

Re: VC4 Nonvolatile Strings
I was on a hardware processor (RMC4, I think) when I saw the same issue. My guess was firmware, since I'm told the module worked fine before. It was reading strings from NVRAM (not a file). There was

This is good to know. I ran into this issue and had to scramble and rewrite the library into simpl+ a few weeks ago. Sadly this is Crestron being Crestron. Cheers Natalie

Re: S# Library Error
Yup, started a case with Crestron to report it. I've wasted like four hours on this because it gets updated silently. I can't believe they make such rookie mistakes releasing software.

Same problem here, but no solution so far. Latest versions and VS2019 Update : going back to Crestron Lib version 2.19.76 solved it Best regards Chris
