Last install I did was around 8 months ago. I used the ir driver Telus UIw40001e this worked well. Previously ion an older box I used the cisco CI430 driver .However some commands had the same issues

Have you made sure they are the the Telus toggle or "Multi" codes? im not sure if they still use them on the new boxes but all of my previous installs have used them.
