Re: Cisco SX20 Questions
I haven¡¯t looked at the pinouts lately, but the Camera DB9 on the MXP codecs could also provide power to a Tandberg camera. Wondering if someone connected oddly wired serial cable to the camera

Re: Cisco SX20 Questions
Not a joke. The magic, factory smoke leaked out of both procs. Per the True Blue support case "Ports fried. Physically saw when it happened; opened CP3N & saw ports smoked"

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
So, when you say "didn?t bother with others? does that mean you did not test them or that they are not actually making any connection? Using a Crestron 9-pin COM port you must ensure the pins you

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
"The cable I am using is a crossover." It's the same cable as when you test with your PC? "I tried to use serial gather to hold on strings in case it just pass through." If your intent is to hold on

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
Is the device supposed to reply when you send a command or do you have to query it for its status? If you short pins two and three together at the switch and send a command do you see it come back on

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
The program is sending commands which is why you see it in debugger. That doesn't mean your wiring is correct. If you want to see if the com port is actually transmitting, tie pin 2 to pin 3 and you

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
Thanks for the reply. I am using AV2. I am using one of the com port in my C2COM-3 card, and C2COM serial driver. I assumed 2 & 3 are tx and rx. The cable I am using is a crossover. I verified only 2

+1 to Lode LS1! Just doesn¡¯t have all the sources built in, but the control is spot on. Our latest customers wanted all the sources over control though. They are ok with favorites and they are ok

Sounds like it could already be paired to a remote, this sometimes prevents standard ir control. Follow this link https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201254 Luke Crestron@...> wrote:

"rx always return as "empty" at toolbox" You didn't say what kind of processor you're working with. Depending on the model, using a "standard" cable could be your downfall. If you have pins 1, 4, 6
