Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
If that's the case, you should be able to forward those modules to Crestron along with an explanation of the issue. If the author/company is truly no longer around, Crestron should be able to provide

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
Don't take offense. Everyone has problems with their program, every now and then :-) Are you serious? Again - are you serious? I offered MY time to help YOU, and you're too lazy to send me an archive?

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
Maybe, but that wouldn't tell us if there's a problem with *your* program, software, or PC. Send me an archive of the program with the old processor in it, then I'll first make sure I can compile

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
If you email me an archive of your program archive I'll try it out...

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
Well, "technically" that was two typos :-) Actually, my mentioning it was not intended as an insult. I merely wanted to correct the model number, for your, and others', benefit - in case you weren't

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
Okay, I just opened a QM-RMC program with several encrypted Simpl and Simpl+ modules, and replaced the processor with a PMC3-XP (there's no such thing as a "PMC2+-XP"). Saved the new program and it

Re: IDOC-V Makes Buzzing Noise
Had the same issue, happened upon connecting the poe to it. Was working fine, unplugged it to move it, plugged it back in and buzzzz. Had to send it for repair.

Re: New Processors/Software and Modules Issues?
I might be a little late, but how do you know the modules are not compatible, as-is? And if they really aren't, have you tried contacting the module's author?

Re: Bell 9241 PVR - IR driver required (remote is IR/UHF)
OK, I have the solution here. By default the remotes for these Bell PVR's are set to UHF (Pro), and to change it over to IR is something they don't care to make obvious, but if you ever run into this

Bell 9241 PVR - IR driver required (remote is IR/UHF)
I am looking for an IR driver for a Bell 9241 PVR, does anyone perhaps have one? The remote says IR/UHF, and my CNXLIR is not able to pick up its signals... Is there a way to get the IR Learner to

Re: Brute-force parsing of an XML stream ? (cc128 Current Cost)
Hi Marc, We have that device in here in Australia where it's called WattsClever. I wrote a module that parses the stream using nothing but SIMPL. Gather on 47d ("/"). Use an STOA for each XML tag that

Re: Brute-force parsing of an XML stream ? (cc128 Current Cost)
As long as your buffer is big enough to accommodate the larger messages, and as long as you're keying your parsing routine to run after seeing a "</msg>" tag, I'm not seeing where there would be a

Re: Does anyone know the number or HDMI keys that the "new" Mac Mini provides?
When/if you find out, let us know. We recently had a project with Mac Mini's on DM distribution. They worked fine for months, and then stopped working. Everything pointed to HDCP key issues. Oddly

Put a Make String Permanent (MSP) on the serial signals on the Equipment side. This will force a refresh on connection.
