LCDORIENTATION says updating to landscape, reboot, still portrait however, setting it to portrait set it back to landscape... well, the ch5 project was fine, however, now it thinks it is a TSW-770P

Did you have a 1080 defined in your SIMPL program? This has a device extender to set it to portrait/landscape. Most likely that messed up the 770
