Re: Josh AI start up

Right!
I think that the Nano's require a CORE and some programming to route the Core's audio outputs to the MRA distribution for talk-back...

Re: Josh AI start up

Sorry,? I was referring to shoutig at the Nanos.
Yes the Micro has a speaker and is a? complete-ish solution, you can ask it questions and it will answer.

But, Nanos are generally in another room, Just listening.

Re: Josh AI start up

Doesn't the Micro have a speaker in it?
I thought the micro was the complete solution before the Core/Nano's...

Re: Josh AI start up

The Nanos are used for room awareness.?
The Core is needed for Speaker feedback ("I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave").
Without the core (using just a Micro) you can shout commands, and they will work, but don't ask it questions.?

Re: How to on trinnov using crestron command #crestron

Yes, My WoL is working now!? probably like you suggested. I'll pivot to the 12v trigger (that's what we did years ago)
My old Optimizer module is working for now so don't mess up your vaca for me - Thanks for offering though!!
When you get back I'd love to get it when you can...

Re: How to on trinnov using crestron command #crestron

I can habe a look tomorrow. It¡®s a simple module.

Yeah, unfortunately Janus is also on vacation...:(
I can't D/L the module unless I have a login, and apparently a human needs to approve mine when they get back...

Anyone else have it and could share?? TIA

FYI, if its just the PKG file that I downloaded from the Drivers site, don't bother...

Re: How to on trinnov using crestron command #crestron

WoL should work.
Sometimes, the unit doesn¡®t start after a hard powerdown and needs to be switched on manually. After that, it works solid.
However, because of that behavior, i always prefer to use the 12v rrigger to start.

In the meantime, I'm having issues with getting WoL to work. I'm currently working with the Trinnov Optimizer v3 module which provides WoL control via the MAC address, and also tried a WoL module that another forum member offered.
Neither are working.
The unit's IP address is 10.32.101.126 and I have tried the UDP interface with 10.32.101.255 and 255.255.255.255.
Any other ideas as to how to get this thing to turn on??

Hi,

the latest Crestron module from Trinnov is v1.0.17.

Hi Thorsten,
Could you share your copy of this module (or latest version)??
I could only find a crappy .PKG version, which I refuse to waste my time on...
TIA!!

Re: Josh AI start up

You can do it without core but is slower and it requires at least one micro to be hardwired.

????.......I guess more people would use if the TSW panels were not so stupidly expensive when compared to an iPad and mount.? ? At least 50% more and I struggle to see the value add? ?

We use loads of iPads in various mounts,? Not used Heckler before, but like the look! - Thanks Doug G for sharing? ???

Josh AI start up

Edited

So I'm going through the online training and just had a question.? Does every system must have a Josh One or Core if using Nano's?? If so, what is the difference between the 2 and what do they consider a device against the allowable number?? And if you use the micro it looks like that acts like a Josh One.

Re: Getting iPAD to act like a touchPanel

Yes, it's very common for large deployments like museums and enterprise. ?I use a service called?

In resi applications we want no light bleeding thru, esp. in bedrooms. And also

Do any of you guys sign up for Apple Business and use their Mobile Device Management tools to set iPads as ¡°supervised¡± and provision them so they can only run a single app? ?Or is this a rare thing?

Re: DSC PowerSeries Neo

Hi Gregory,

It seems you are the lucky guy who got the DSC module working. I set the settings on the DSC panel according to the instructions and in the Simpl program according to your instructions. In the new version User Attribute 3 is the bypass zones. I set it to 1 because I only programmed one zone for testing purposes. Attached is the printout from the debugger and the simpl programm
Do you have an idea what it could be? Do you have a screenshot of your Simple program?
