Re: Crestron RMC3 with Cisco Touch 10 and Codec Pro

No, not needed for the RMC3 to connect. Just need SSH turned on and configured properly in your module. You can also try changing the SSH connection type to "Unsecure" in the Parameters if you simply want to test your connection and troubleshoot the key later.

Crestron also just released a free program for the RMC3 that you simply configure via an Xpanel.

I assume you are a dealer of course and have access to this.

Re: Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

I don't have either a DIN-CEN-CN-2 nor the CAEN-BLOCK-CENCN-2-POE in my program. I do however have a?CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET, and it very possibly that I only saw this pop up on this project after I added that device to the software.

Odd that I saw this in the past though on one CP3 which had no such Cresnet extenders, and it went away only after a restore. Oh well, hopefully it'll get fixed then in a future Toolbox release.

Re: Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

RSD?

Re: Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

I've noticed the same thing with regards to the CAEN-BLOCK-CENCN-2-POE.
I was told that there is a known issue with the later versions of Toolbox and these devices.
IP ID conversion makes sense because Slot 1 ethernet is connected to Cresnet A and Slot 2 ethernet is Cresnet B.

This really shows up when trying to use D3Pro.? It can't verify any devices connected to the Cresnet on them.
Even the ethernet to Cresnet internal card on these devices shows as offline.

I was told by tech support to back down my Toolbox to 3.03.424 and this would go away.
I haven't tried it yet because, right now, it's just a minor annoyance.

Re: VTPro issues

Why haven't all of you moved to using CH5 now???
Oh wait...that's right!...it still doesn't work...:):):)

Re: Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

It does this every time when you have a DIN-CEN-CN-2 in your program. I mentioned it offhand to someone at Crestron and they said it's probably because there is some IP ID conversion that's happening under the hood. I keep meaning to submit it as a bug report and I always forget to.?

Re: VTPro issues

Supposed to... but it still does anyway.

Re: Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

Are you working with RSDs in your Simpl program? Sometimes that trips me up because in the stupidity of replacing a RSD on an existing IPID, Simpl doesnt keep the IP address when you replace it, it just blanks it out. I'll forget and when I go to upload I get the message and then go back and fix.?

"It is de rigeur if you¡¯re remapping IP table entries (in my experience at least)¡I¡¯ve never thought t bothersome enough to worry about though"

Me neither, it's a useful notification in that circumstance, but I'm not changing any IP table entries.

"...nor can I remember it occurring when I¡¯m not remapping entries"

So, you haven't experienced this is what you're saying.

Subject: [crestron] Processor not recognising unchanged IP table.

?

Has anyone else had a processor get stuck where this message is presented every time you upload, even though nothing in the IP table has changed?

I had it once before on a CP3, and in the end I did a full restore on it and this issue went away. I now have it on an MC4, and I'm loath to restore it, because I've already done that once for another issue and having to then go around and re-acquire all the EX devices to the MC4's in-built RFGW (something I'd not accounted for, including CLCI-DIMUEX-W in ceilings!) is not something I want to do again just to make this go away.

Is there something else I'm missing or can do to easily resolve this?

Re: OFF light still blinking in Crestron Light Control CLS-C6 #lighting

The A = Almond colored.?
Put an incandescent bulb in there and bet you it wouldn't happen. If they are MLV LED bulbs, try a larger load (more bulbs), perhaps too little draw but based on the scenes switching flash my guess is the LED driver dimming curve. The scenes probably dim the loads 50% on either load causing the flashing. If you raise all loads to 100% it may stop.

Call crestron support or do some googling on dimming curves to understand your solution.

Re: OFF light still blinking in Crestron Light Control CLS-C6 #lighting

Are your loads magnetic low voltage or electronic low voltage? The CLS-C6 is MLV only. (My guess is the dimming curve)

Hi all, hope all are safe and well.

This is not related to programming but Crestron product only.

in my office, Im using 2 circuit of lights namely A and B, connected to load 1 and load 2 respectively.

At scene 1, circuit A is in ON state and B is in OFF.

At scene 2, circuit B is in ON state and A is in OFF.

At scene 3, all are ON.

The problem is during scene 1, circuit B is blinking. Same thing happen at scene 2 where circuit A will be blinking. Testing with multimeter shows that there is a pulse of 100V supplied to OFF circuit each second.

Would like to ask anyone opinion and advice on how to overcome this.

Re: Issues with Sonos & Crestron

Hey Crestron guys who lurk here, and the ones that chime in once in a while...YOU HAVE TO FIX THIS FOR THE MC3. ?This is total BS that you just killed It (the MC3) recently and are already telling people to pound sand on updates. ?You have no idea the bad will you are generating with end users over this. ?First I tell them that a fix is on the way and not to worry because Crestron said they were on it and now I have to tell them just kidding you have to buy a new processor? ?Are you kidding? ?The cherry on top is that several of them also have Nest integration that will go away with a processor replacement. ?Please guys, just this once...give them back the functionality they HAD for a long time without all the nonsense. ?I don¡¯t need manufactured drama with clients right now...I need happy ones.

ckangis - Thanks for the info and definitely will consider SurgeX products after reviewing all the specs.
