Here is a link to the Protocol Document. ?I am creating my own module since the MC-8 is a complete different set of commands. ?So far, I am finding all the commands in the doc to be good.

AFAIK the MC-10 has nothing in common with the MC-12, totally different platform. The MC-10 is basically based on Arcam (both part of Harman group). So i would rather expect an Arcam module to work than an MC-12 module.
