Re: NVX and DANTE on Cisco 2960-x Switches
What specific issue are you having with Dante? Discovery? Dropouts? Clocking? if it¡¯s clocking then you might just need to enable QoS |
DMPS3-4K-100-C network connection issue
Has anyone experienced network issues with the DMPS3-4K-100-C? If I disconnect the network cable then reconnect, I don't get network activity but if I disconnect a second time and reconnect it appears to work. This has happen about 30 days ago and Crestron issued an advanced replacement.
Firmware is current, tried different cables, network switches and rolled back firmware as well still with the same results. |
Re: NVX and DANTE on Cisco 2960-x Switches
Maybe you need use different VLANs to NVX and Dante. You need check if the switch capacity of processing is ok (bandwidth). I think this is not your problem, but, a doble check can help you. Maybe this doc can help you. If you can use the NVX in your configs, i Think you is able tu use Dante. Try remove all NVX and check if your dante work. We changed to CIsco 2960-X, but I am unable to find the correct settings in the CIsco manual and most examples are for 300 series switches. Re: TSW-x52 non Crestron mac address
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYeah, that joke gets used a lot in testing hardware ¨C it may have just not had the correct MAC programmed in. Not the first time. As long as you don¡¯t have another DEAD BEEF 1234 on the same network it shouldn¡¯t cause any real issues on its own. On the other hand check to make sure everything else is working as expected as there is a small chance that this could be a sign of an impending failure. ? ? I don't have record of what the MAC Address was, but the panel was defective out of the box (it was touching itself in weird places and calibration, restore, init, etc. wouldn't fix it). That was a fun call to True Blue when it reported both a bogus Serial Number (one not on our PO) AND a bogus MAC Address. The sticker satiated the claim, though, and we got an advanced replacement.? |
Re: Avoid latest versions of SIMPL when programming for 2- or 3-series for now
The Biamp modules were version 1.5. Two workarounds seem to exist: rollback to the older SIMPL, or update the firmware on the processor. Either fix alone solved it. The program was from 5 years ago and I was only adding an XPanel to it, so I was trying to tread lightly.

Re: Program Restart.
#console
Like Steve said, just reboot.? If you actually wanted to restart a program, though, it would be "progreset -p:1" for the program in slot 1. On Sun, Jun 21, 2020 at 11:27 AM Steve Kuehn <steve@...> wrote:

Re: Hayward OmniLogic Crestron Module
I¡¯ve done a few. Couple things are strange about the Hayward. First it only controls the pool or the spa at any one time so not possible(or advisable) to have a single page that is pool and spa control. You have to press Pool then the temp read out for the current temp serial will he Pool, and of you press Spa then the same serial string now reports the Spa current temp.
Also the DNS has to be set. But you say that¡¯s covered. The last gotcha I found is that the Site ID as they call it in the module is a different name on the Hayward site . It¡¯s like system ID or some other name I can¡¯t remember. |

Re: LG Refrigerator Module
The few pieces I put together seem to imply it's OAUTH or OAUTH2-based (or perhaps "inspired" -- parts definitely don't look like pure OAUTH) and despite being called an "open" API it appears LG's approval is needed to get the full API spec -- though admittedly I've not dug too far -- since no one answered "Yes, of course I have it done and working" [wasn't really expecting that answer, but also wasn't really thinking "what version of Android is this refrigerator running" would be a question during the appliance shopping process either] at this point I'm waiting for the fridge to be delivered and installed before I dive too deep.

But I get home from the apartment tomorrow, fridge gets delivered Thursday and then Friday I'm off to California for my dad's 70th over the weekend (shhhhh...no one tell him I'm coming. It's a surprise.) and with actual paying client obligations it will probably be a while before I dig too deep. -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market Director Sr. Systems Architect | Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Diamond) ControlWorks Consulting, LLC Direct: (+1)440.771.4807 | Cleveland: (+1)440.449.1100? | Boston: (+1)508.695.0188 | DC: (+1)202.381.9070? | Fax: (+1)440.449.1106 Crestron Services Provider | Biamp Authorized Independent Programmers | Extron Qualified Independent Programmer -----Original Message-----

Correct but when I looked at the information it was just model information for refrigerators or open source licensing info. Unlike other products there isn't any application source code that could be used to figure out the commands being sent.
