So found a clients site just today where they had updated to the Sonos S2 and actually had no issues, was pleasantly surprised

Re: Christie Digital SUHD display control protocol

On another note - why custom controls?
It is Crestron Connected - why not to use RAD driver for Crestron Conected?

Luma, Lilin, IC Realtime, and ExacqVision NVRs are controllable over ethernet, with Luma being the most popular among integrators I work with.

Re: Driving a Slider with a Serial I/O #crestron #s #values

@?Brian Erchenbrecher

Thanks to your advise I started implementing ATOS (with analog increment and scalers) to send commands to the dimmers, and so far they have been working great, exactly how I wanted it!. So thank you.

But I'm still not getting my head around how I would make a STOA work in this implementation.

The feedback structure I would be working with is the following:

*1*(dimminglevel [0 through 10])*([light point ID [10 to n])##.

Example: 1*8*12## (80% set on light point number 12).

As far as I can tell the STOA outputs the ASCII value corresponding to the character(s) found/matched as analog signal(s). Is that right?

So how would I make this work if I ultimately want one (1) single analog signal for driving the slider if I'm gonna be looking for 2 or maybe 3 parameters in my feedback structure?

I could be misremembering, but I seem to recall that the serial protocol may be different from the IP protocol. Double check that before spending too much time with the IP module.

If I don¡¯t care about feedback, I use an SIO ¨C which is 60% of the time. If I care about feedback, which usually is only volume feedback, we have an internal module that does some inputs and volume.
