Re: Sonos - Playbar & TV - how to control?
If the soundbar is only being used for TV sound then just control it via IR.? I don't think there isn't any way to select the optical input from Crestron, anyways.

Re: V15 on DGE-2 "fading out"
Good to know, unfortunately or fortunately as the case may be it seems like we'll be retiring this DGE2 a little bit faster than expected. -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market

Re: V15 on DGE-2 "fading out"
Yep, that¡¯s why I think it¡¯s the D or M cable or the panel itself going I don¡¯t think the V15 has an ambient light sensor and unfortunately being a DM panel it¡¯s not exactly possible to try

Re: Preference for Mini PC for "jump" box
Hi, last time i checked, there were also devices with a LAN port available (wired RAP). But the Arubas were only an example. Sometimes they are called "VPN boxes" or "VPN gateways" - basically a box

Re: V15 on DGE-2 "fading out"
?Believe it or not this is exactly how the V12 from my previous post bit the dust. It got dimmer and dimmer until it went dark. It would cycle through this process at various degrees of intensity

Re: V15 on DGE-2 "fading out"
I haven't seen anything like this. Typically if the DGE fails, it fails hard. My guess would be the screen (could have ambient light sensor enabled, etc). Try a different source on the same input of

DMPS-300-C IR IN port question
I am wondering if I could connect an IR receiver into the IR IN port. Would this then pass the received IR signals directly to the IR outputs, essentially working as an IR extender for anything in the

Martin, I would also like more info on your product, if it's ready to deploy or still in development.? It makes sense that your described solution is not "off the shelf" as I wasn't aware of boxes

V15 on DGE-2 "fading out"

Thorsten, giving a quick look, it might probably be quite the same thing tbh. I didn't know that "remote access points" were out in the market, didn't know that solution existed. Besides that, here in

Re: Preference for Mini PC for "jump" box
These kind of devices are usually called "remote access points" and are available for quite some time now. What distinguishes your solution from solutions like e.g. this one?
