Thanks Caleb. That was what I was trying to get across. LOL

To be clear on the module front, most calls I get are related to the DIRECTV webserver and "local" functions that the IP API doesn't work with on Genies, such as navigating some of the menus and power. No issue is because of Crestron or the module.

As with anyone who is using the module, and you run into a situation where something's not working as expected, feel free to give us a call. We are happy to look into the issue and get your feedback on the module.

+1 for the Control Works module. ?There are a couple of issues with controlling DTV via IP. ?Random loss of control when navigating menu or info bar. ?No power control for Genie clients. ?My understanding of these limitation have nothing to do with CWs but the way that the Crestron system handles the IP control and the limitation of DTV receivers.

Re: Sharp PN-U423 Control Using BPC 8

Depends on whether the user has access to control without Crestron and whether the unit may be polled for current level.?

But an AINC to EQU to SIO will do for one way control.?

Great, I got it. ?Thanks. ?Next question, to control volume "VOLM ?30" puts the volume at 30 and "VOLM ?20" puts it at 20 and so on. ?There is no volume up/down command that I can see. ?So if only using a BPC-8 to control am I still stuck putting an IR sensor on the front for volume. ?Any ideas??

Write the program in D3. If you need to add it to another program, open the file that d3 created and take what you need.

Can anyone send me a sample of a program for C2N-CBD to control a dimer module.
I have a few keypads and 01 dimmer module.
I always use DIN-AP3 which is very easy to donthe switches but now I am going to use simple window for a MC3.
I want to be able to use the button as toggle and hold it to raise and lower the brightness. It will be 6 buttons per keypad controlling individual loads.
Thanks

Re: iRobot Roomba 980 via crestron?

the roomba 980 comes with an wifi module built in... that company created their own API via their wifi module.. i had already googled that.. the link i posted takes advantage of the built in module but the api calls were done for smartthings and im not sure how to convert that into a creston http call!

Re: Http live headers

You don't really need an extension anymore -- Firefox and Chrome both open a Developer Tools console when you press F12.? There's a Network tab that shows details of requests (generally starting from when you open Developer Tools, so you'll need to reload the page to see the request).

Button Model should be "Toggle + Dim" where you input the desired delay time before the dimming process begin...generally about 0.5 seconds.

Attached the desired load(s) to each button on the KP.

Re: Samsung QM-85D (QMD-Series) Quad View Control

Hello Chip;

Thank you for your answer but it shouldn't be about pip. Device has triple screen and quad screen menu. You can select screen type and select sources for these screens.

For example; On quad screen mode, you can select upperright-hdmi1, upperleft- hdmi2, lower right- hdmi3 and lowerleft - displayport1 but its not very userfriendly way even if you use its own remote.

We need to control it via rs232 or network and could select inputs for these quadwindows. Also we need to set sound source.

Do you have any advice?

Is there any commands for these goals.?

Thanks in advance.

Re: iRobot Roomba 980 via crestron?

There are a couple products out there that have wifi cards for them and are crestron controllable. I have no experience but may after this christmas ;) . . . though it will be on the cheap model I think they are all basically the same.

Re: Setting clock on a CP3

Commands that work in text console. ?It replies with the current time before taking my modifications. ?It is acting like it will only take the TIMEdate because it replies with the correct current time and ignores the remainder of my string. ?If I send TIMEdate 11:45:00 03/07/2016, it will reply with the current settings and ignore the 11:45:00 03/07/2016. ?It works fine if I use TCP Client instead. ?

Re: DBX Zone Pro 1261 Stereo

I did this.
So in Zone Pro config i set input 5 & 6 to be stereo. And then I lose all control of the zone pro. Not just input routing but volume and mute control.
