Re: Media Player application and CEN-NSP1 question?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThere are a number of ways ¨C putting things on subpages, controlling the subpage visibility based on which IPID the panel is communicating on, using the visibility/enable property of buttons, etc. depending on how much is different and what effect you¡¯re trying to communicate (e.g. is the function ¡°Disabled¡± on that particular message but there should still be some indication that it exists, or do you want the user to be completely unaware that a specific function is possible?) ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market Director Sr. Systems Architect | Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Gold) ControlWorks Consulting, LLC V: 440.449.1100 x1107 F: 440-449-1106 I: Crestron Services Provider | Biamp Audia Certified | Extron Authorized Programmer ? Re: How to add a password to access a page or subpage for the TSW-1052?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou¡¯re going to need to do that in both VTP and SIMPL ¨C you can build the keypad however you want (using the keypad smart object, using a collection of discreet buttons, whatever) then use one of the password modules in SIMPL unless you feel like rolling your own logic to implement passwords/backdoors/checks/etc. ? The reason I have crested one for each is that there are stuff in one panel that the client doesn't want to showing up in the other. Unless there is a way to do it and I haven't done it yet. On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 9:41 AM, "Heather Baiman heather@... [Crestron]" wrote:

Thank you all. I installed D3 and I am looking into it. I will try to make it work there first and then do ?like Jonny was saying, I will figure out a way to copy the code into simpl. I will have about 24 loads. On Sunday, September 13, 2015 9:06 PM, "Jonny ComeAlive@... [Crestron]" wrote:

How many loads we talking about? You could always build a d3 project then open the simpl file and copy/paste to you main simpl program.? On Sep 11, 2015, at 7:58 PM, kgossen@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

Alpha (transparency) join
Hi guys, In Smart Graphics, I'm trying to find an image object that has an alpha (transparency) join. Would like to use it to visually indicate light/ambient levels. Should have sworn I've seen it in use before. Am I missing something, or is it just not there? I know I could probably use different modes but that just would be as smooth as I'd like it to be... Thanks, Rogier |

BPT Video and New TSWx52 firmware
Hi, Has anyone else had any video issues with their Crestron-BPT integration and the latest TSWx52 (tsx-xxx2_1.001.0018.002). I've completely lost video and after an initiaise and restore managed to get it back but then its disappeared again and can't get the video streaming from our cameras stable either. Spoke to Crestron technical about this and they haven't got any issues on their test bench but I've got the same issue at two separate jobs and can't believe no one else isn't having issues either. Thanks, Simon ? |

Re: Windows 10 Upgrade
I've been running Windows 10 on my PC Laptop for a few weeks now. Besides some Thunderbolt driver issues which I think I have resolved, I haven't had any major issues. In fact the laptop seems to run faster. My laptop has a ?"4K" 3840x2160 native resolution, and I just bought the new LG wide screen that runs at 3440x1440. Crestron software looks just fine at this resolution and I finally have the space I need to work on touch panels like the TSW-1052! I don't run my laptop display at?3840x2160 though as everything is way too small.

Re: Homeworks QS individual load control - Ro2 module question
Just finished implementing this today. ?I found that the module didn't seem to process all feedback correctly especially when a keypad press came in with the current level. ?I had to add a serial gather to make it work properly, which was also tricky because the login process doesn't use delimiters. ?The gather might help with the overflow if it isn't processing it correctly like mine was. ?
I was fairly unimpressed with this module as well because the ramping feature is not a true ramp. ?It gives the impression of ramping on the interface, but waits until you release the button to actually send the ramp command. ?I imagine they are trying to avoid an overload of values/commands being sent to and from the Lutron. ?Can anyone verify this? |

Re: Not understanding Serial outputs on FIFO Queue Symbol
I was helping another programmer with this for his cert and the digitals would work fine, but the rest of it didn't work. I have no idea what/if we were doing something wrong. I said screw that and wrote my own that will populate an analog number of selections in line and give feedback for the digitals in line and the names in the order selected giving the current selected and the next in line on their own outputs while keeping track and updating if someone decided to delselect that was in the queue. It was actually pretty easy in simpl+. Just get creative with the FOR loops to update what is queued or removed.?
So, sorry I can't offer suggestions on the crestron FIFO. The digital side works great on that module, but it was faster to write my own versus trying to figure their stuff out. :/ |
