Re: Sony evi-d camera processor
I created my own Visca module a while back and haven't looked back. You can do everything in Simpl really easily (though I do store presets on the camera, not the control system). I also like to have

Re: New DSP
The TesiraForte line would be the way to go if you're going BiAmp. They have better processing, lower cost, and have a VoIP version at the lowest going rate in the business. Their echo cancelation

Re: CLWI dimmers keep on dimming!
Ahh.. When I hear CLW without an RF or EX attached I assume the good old wired dimmers. Have you confirmed the load on the dimmer versus the rated maximum? If you're close/over that may also lead to

Re: Panasonic Camera
There is a Crestron module in Simpl for the WV-CS854 that is RS485 which may be helpful. Crestron@...> wrote:

Re: Panasonic Camera
This one is analog. Has anyone done these with RS485 (2 wire or 4 wire) with Pelco?

Not sure of the exact model but I've controlled Panny WV series cameras via Ethernet. Controlled via HTTP get commands, if I recall correctly. Crestron@...> wrote:

Re: CLWI dimmers keep on dimming!
I've seen that happen in my home when the there is a short on Cresnet - not every dimmer does it and the first time it happened it frightened me until I realized I had a stray wire on a CNTBLOCK (I

Re: Hide Status bar with Crestron App on iPad
I agree. With wireless Crestron panels you can display the WiFi and battery meters in the screen, but Apple doesn't allow access to this info. I like having it there as well. I guess it would be nice

Re: Hide Status bar with Crestron App on iPad
While I understand why it would be nice for them to give the option, it doesn't bother me at all. It's a tiny amount of space and it always provides the current time and Wi-Fi/Battery status.

I agree, Heather. I stopped calling it "Aspect" many years ago, after a couple of end-users asked me what it meant :-)

Re: OT - New toolbox with FTP
It is a checkbox option in the address book, and will only work with 3-series processors and TSW panels. Check the "Use SSH/SFTP (22)" checkbox under the password box for the entry you want to use it

Thanks. When not using the Filezilla process, I usually use the the TB loading popup, but not 'secure transfer'. I'll do some research... Thanks, Chris K..............
