Re: Crestron PRO2 broblem - blinking input-output & relay front panel LED

This usually happens when the Pro2 can't detect it's IO and/or COM boards. Given that they're sandwiched between the backplane and the case, I doubt they came loose, but you might as well check. Might need a replacement. Perhaps something got zapped and killed something.

Hello,

I've got problem same as message topic. I'm on site installing equipment and one houer ago on front panel PRO2 start blinking I/O and Relay LED (all of them). Installers told me that not touch anything.
Already try do clear simpl file and disconect all cables but no success.
I can connect to PRO2 via RS232 or LAN.
Any idea?

H.264 stream from Axis cameras to TSW750

Tom Kadlec

Has anyone been successful viewing H.264 streaming video directly from
an Axis camera to the TSW750? In theory, the 750 is supposed to support
H.264, but there is no documentation other than to the NVS200. I
believe it should be doable or Crestron couldn't make the claim
(right?). I am sure there is something simple that I am missing.

If anyone has any insight, please let me know what it is.

Thanks

AV2 rebooting continously after program upload

Hi Guys,

When I load new program in the processor, it keeps rebooting. I can get it back by bypassing the program and reloading the old one.

Any clue what should I be looking for in the program that may cause this? I only Biamp and Tandberg Modules in the program. rest are just buffers so I can run non core 3 on tp and test core 3 on xpanel and provide feedback to smart objects..

TIA

Re: How many x-panels or crestron mobile pros

I have 8 iPads on a Pro2 and haven't had any problems. It's also a 4-person family and I don't think there's ever more than 4 being used simultaneously.

--- In Crestron@..., "kolathome" <kol.mstc@...> wrote:

can be reliably run on a pro2?

I have been asked to replace 9 vt3500s with iPads, and probably add a couple more x-panel or iphones as well. A pro2 and rack2 are available, but I am thinking that is not enough horsepower and I should recommend a 3 series processor to replace the pro2. I expect there would only ever be 3 or 4 in use simultaneously, and that would require the whole family be on them at the same time.

Thanks

Good point. We NEVER use the USB speakers, they are terrible. Also, the pen tray switching in the 800 series isn't the best either, would rather use an Extron USB switch.

I see some extender acting like 3 hubs when connected.

And if you using the smart usb speaker your adding a new hub, the pentray

Re: Multiple TSTATEX best practice again...

Heath Volmer

Either the way you are doing it or to use crosspoints (which is far cleaner.)

You do not necessarily have to set up six schedules for six tstats, but it's the simplest. I've set up larger systems where we combine several TSTATs onto one scheduler, so that multiple zones follow a common schedule and remain independent when heating/cooling. A bit annoying to get everything landed properly.

What would be a best practice to control six TSTAT with multiple touch panel(iPad)?

Re: Add Fonts to Core3 Project?

Available fonts are governed by the Core3 theme applied to the project and/or page.
You will have to edit the theme to change the available fonts.

I'm starting a new project using the TSW1050 and the client CANNOT have Arial only.

Re: Add Fonts to Core3 Project?

From True Blue: (yet another reason to STOP using Core3 products):

Fonts are based on the Themes. And the pre-made themes have a limited font selection built into them. You cannot edit the text to change to a font that is not part of the theme. When the Theme Editor becomes available (it is in development but I don't have a release date for it at this time) you will be able to add fonts to the themes to add more variety. But at the moment you can user the fonts provided by the themes or create a graphics for the object with the text and font you need instead.

Re: STX-1700CXP graphics

Also, stick with native Windows fonts like Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, Trebuchet, and Georgia. With one of those fonts and the 16-level aa on, you can go as low as 7pt font size on those old dogs and it's still very legible.

It is an STX-1700, it will look crappy no matter what font you use.
You can't compare it to clarity of modern panels or IPADs, will never come close.
Have to do quite a few upgrades with them UGH recently.
Arial Bold seems to be about the best you can do.

I'm lucky enough to have to work on one of these old panels and having trouble getting any of the fonts to look even halfway good. Can anyone pass along some tips for working with these devices in the latest VTPRO software?

Setting x2 in the view helps, but it's still hard to layout that way. I've been using just Arial text with the font even set below the choices and still looks crappy.

Seth Olle

When you have crestron design a system for you. 5 is the max per processor.
I know you can do a bunch more. All depends what you are doing.
5 iPads with 18 different audio sources, full or cover art, and dynamic images would stress more then a simple iPad layout.
