Re: Event based scheduler

Here's an event scheduler I made that might be helpful for what you trying to do.

Modify Simpl+ Editor Font and Colors

Ok I have not dug into what file defines the Font, Font Size and colors; the Preferences have next to nothing. Is my Option to use NotePad++ then reopen and compile in Simpl+ or is there a bat or config file I can tweak so its just what I like?

Re: Event based scheduler

just drop in and define the Crestron Event Scheduler v2 and connect the needed signals.. Does not really mater if it is a xPanel or touch panel. Its pretty basic and pre-baked.

Re: Sony Proj VPL-FHZ85 IP control issues

Hey John,
I deal mostly with the VPL ES home cinema line, but knowing Sony the protocol may be the same...
Here's some details for a project I just did with a 715ES. If you need the module I can send it to you...

TCP Client Port: ? ? 53484d
Logic Module:? ? ? ?Sony VPL-VW1000ES IP v1.0

Re: Mitsubishi mini split and Crestron Home

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I have found the easiest way with 3 of my Mitsubishi mini splits, is to install the Mitsubishi PAC-US445CN-1 interface to the CN5 connector on the mini split, then connect a Crestron thermostat (CHV or HZ) to the PAC-US445. ?Shows in home correctly. 45 minutes to install and program .

Sony Proj VPL-FHZ85 IP control issues

I have tried both PJ Talk and Crestron Connected and can not get control of this PJ.? Logged into the web interface and made sure the settings were correct.? Am I missing something?

Re: IR receiver to IR transmitter with DM-NVX

The one issue that I *think* you may have with GC in this conversion application (if it works) is that you would likely loose the ability to P+H on commands, like Ch+/-, Guide Up/Dn, etc....

Agree with the cresnet question, cause you could use the C2N-RTHS?.

Event based scheduler

Hi All,

I am struggling with creating an xpanel and simpl programming. I am trying to create an xpanel which allow to select a date and start and finish time of an event i.e. sensory event in this case, and if the button is toggled to active, it activates that particular event and send commands based on start time and end time and then the button is toggled off, it should not send any commands. I know there is event scheduler module but its not working for me.
anyone can help me out here please?

Thanks

Temperature Sensor recommendations to integrate with crestron CP4

Hello,

I am looking for a temperature sensor recommendations to read the rack temperature which can be connected to the IO port of the CP4.

Thanks in advance.

Re: 1 beyond hawk

Do each head has different camera ID as well? 81 for head 1 and 82 for head 2? So? two instances of the same module with different ID's for saving and recalling the presets for each of the two head's.

Re: 1 beyond hawk

Edited

You can control either of the heads individually.? Their visca protocol is documented in the manual and one particular byte determines which camera the command is for.??

I've not used the crestron module so not sure about that as I've only done it through QSC previously but I did note that when enabling/disabling autotracking, you had to send the command to each camera discretely.

Re: IR receiver to IR transmitter with DM-NVX

AS Tony said. If they are using a Universal IR remote 1- Just do an IR Extender or 2. Have a device that does IR capture to 232 (assuming it is not used for the Display control. 3. Just pull a cable save time, money and support issues.

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

This is not uncommon.. and has been a issue since day 1.. I don't think it is a Crestron issue as if you use the IP ID with an xPanel it works and if you close the App and re-establish the connection it usually will work again without intervention.? I have found Client education and training on how to resolve it stops the service calls since Blue is not going down the path of tablet style.. (ughh Thanks for The rebranded Viewsonic with Jacked up Batts). Put a MS Surface on site with xPanel same ip ID as an iPad and when a ipad fails see if the Surface or NUC pc etc is still good if so then call Steve Jobs.

1 beyond hawk

I have a client that would like to have manual control of 1 beyond hawk.
Hawk is mounted with two heads. In the manual it says it's possible to control the camera with visca protocol but doesn't mention which head, 1 or 2 is being controlled.?
Is it possible to control both the PTZ's of the hawk via autotracker module, which is visca based, available in crestron database. The client wants to enable/disable auto tracking and use manual control for both the PTZ's.
?

Re: CP4N Router Issue - Everything Getting 169.254.X.X Address on Control Subnet

Disconnect the DM and Isolate the CS from anything but a single device set to DHCP you need to know if it is the Processor or something else. Isolation is your friend in a situation like this.. May have to take several steps if Processor is Good with only the DM Lan with No end points start reconnecting endpoints. If it fails Hook only your laptop or a device with a stand alone switch via CS port and verify it passes out DHCP and maintains its services. If Not Processor has issues. If So well will be a long day.
