We have a Crestron Com-3 talking to a series for Somfy SDB networked shades.? When the shades installer hooked up their PC the shades worked flawlessly, but we can't get consistent reliable control.? The PDF for the Crestron module mentions a 120 ohm termination resistor at both ends of the network.? Do we need to add this to the Crestron end or does its 485 already have this type of termination?

I have a client whose old Polk Audio SR-H2000 finally died.? He had the "lifetime" subscription tied to it so tears were shed.? Is there a rack mount tuner with 232 that is currently available?? I'm ready to jump on ebay and look for an C2NTXM if I have too, but streaming is not desired.? He has an MMS, and hates using it for reasons.

Is that only available on a specific RMC?

The Serena shades are locked to the Caseta platform.

On the output settings of the endpoint,? there is a selection to play audio without video, but this requires you load a graphics file (we use our company logo). We haven't had any "select video first" issues since we started doing that.

Thought I would post this here as well as TB
I have a DM-NVX D200 and E30 that I am setting up. I plug them both into a network switch at my desk to configure them and update firmware. I have my laptop connected to the same switch. When I run DM NVX tool ( or device discovery) I can only see the E30 listed as devices that are plugged in.
If I connect my laptop directly to the D200 it shows in the DM NVX tool (and device discovery), I can connect to it and upload firmware.
Question is why can't I see both the D200 and E30 in the DM NVX tool when all three devices (D200, E30 and laptop) are connected to the same switch.

I thought all shades were clear connect and would work across all current processors

While I haven't tried it, is there an reason why you couldn't ssh into the DM-NVX-360 and get to the text console that way?? I found most Crestron products except for newer version of the CP4R will accept and SSH connection.

Unfortunately, Caseta Shades can't be moved to the RA3 system. The radios are incompatible, and new shades to work with RA3 ?would need to be made.

I do this at home and the only gotcha is that if you have No Source Selected in the video portion and you have your DVI source selected as audio, you will not hear any audio. You have to have a source selected in the video portion to hear audio.

What I do is make sure video goes to the "audio" source when no video is selected.
In other words, if the first source selected is one of your audio sources, it will tell the dm to show the dvi card as the video.

You need to select all files & subfolders pulled from /display/ and ZIP them to a single file.
Though I prefer 7zip, I use Windows built-in "Right Click > Send To > Comressed (zipped) folder" option for this.
Then you rename the .zip file to MyFilenameFromTheVTXFile.vtz.

Make sure you're actually changing the file extension & not just renaming (to FileName.vtz.zip).
Click Windows Start button and type "File Explorer Options" then navigate to the View tab.
Uncheck the box for "Hide extensions for known file types" if needed, prior to changing the extension from .zip to .vtz.

There is no guarantee the reconstructed .vtz will be viable after doing this.
Note that Toolbox doesn't have any official "Retrieve Project" for touch panels (like there is a "Retrieve Program" for control systems).
In most instances with newer panels (x52 and later?) this process typically works though.
You can try launching the .vtz in XPanel Desktop software to see if it will run prior to trying to load it to a panel.

Any recs for a tuner - just needs to do AM/FM.? Small profile would be a bonus.

Yes, it should work. You have to enable "free run" on the DVI card.

Trying to get audio source to a location that has a surround receiver fed by DM.? Customer wants to listen to an audio source while sometimes watch video source.? Wonder if I were to add a couple of DMC-DVI (Just for audio into the DM) and program the break away audio, if this would work.
