Event Scheduler

I am having trouble getting this working on a RMC3.

I have schedule.dat uploaded to \\NVRAM\\Schedule.dat and a serial send to send that to the Event Scheduler.

I have this in the file:

1,Curtains Open,2,15,-XXXXX-,--XXXXXXXX--,0
2,Curtain Close,3,-30,XXXXXXX,XXXXXXXXXXXX,0
3,Lights,1,245,XXXXXXX,XXXXXXXXXXXX,0

But it is not driving any of the items.

Does the module get the time from the system?? I have checked th system time is correct or does it need the Astronomical Clock included?

Re: McIntosh 7200 Integrated Amplifier

Guys,

We're talking about Crestron Home here.? CP4-R is the processor.

Re: Logic Engine Error

Did you have any SIMPL+ modules using GatherAsync in the code?? I'm having same log entries and I think this is where issue is coming from, but can't get specific info from Crestron as to what those log entries actually mean.

Niko Home Control integration

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hi,

?

We?ve got a home cinema client who would like to use Crestron in his new home cinema. He currently has Niko Homecontrol installed and is controlling shades, lights, AC with the system.

Has anyone experience with this system? Crestron itself seems to be connected in some way as they even list Niko-components on their website, but I couldn?t find anything regarding how to connect the system (gateway etc.).

?

Thanks,

Thorsten

WiiM

Has anyone tried or succeeded in integrating a WiiM streamer?

Re: McIntosh 7200 Integrated Amplifier

The last program I did with a C52 used the MX132 RS-232 module from the Crestron Database.

Another program with a C53 is just using an SIO. I'm not sure if the strings are from a Denon, but they look familiar - e.g., the Power On command is "(PWR 1)\x0D". I'm sure I still have the protocol document they came from, so send me an email if you need it.

The same program also has an MX123 that uses a Denon AVR-4311CI module.

Re: McIntosh 7200 Integrated Amplifier

There is a protocol specifically for the MAC7200. It is NOT like the Denon protocol (or MX123 as that goes) and it is RS232 only. I would go to the dealer that sold the MAC7200 and see if they download it for you through their dealer portal. Or contact McIntosh directly.? I cannot post it here or send it to anyone because of our NDA with McIntosh.? All I can do is tell you it does exist but you will have to go through the proper channels to get it.

Re: CCD Samsung QLED can't connect

Samsung will not wake up on IP command, just my 2 cents.

If you do and IP scan you'll find the Samsung IP is no where to be found after a few minutes, if you turn on the Tv IR then you can control it via IP which defeat the purpose.? ?Also some old models will work on wake 0n lan you have to use attribute 2.? ?PM me and I can help you with an example program.

Re: How to on trinnov using crestron command #crestron

Out of curiosity is this a SIMPL module or a Certified Driver?

Re: CHV-TSTAT

I would just use the tstat, DIN version and a temp sensor.
Then you can handle all the logic with SIMPL for controlling the steam room relays.
Super simple.
While I haven't done a steam room, I have done many hot tubs and pools this way.
IMO this is much better and more bullet proof than the usual pool and hot tub controls.

Quick Google search brings up this company who have a beta module in Home for it.? I can't vouch for anything Home related, but Crestron has it in the app market as well:

Thanks for the answer!
I don't think I can do it with this thermostat. Has anyone here had success controlling a steam room or any type of thermostat that reaches higher temperatures on the Crestron Home platform?

Thanks!

Re: Apple TV Control Reserved Joins

I figured it out. I had to create a secure connection between the remote and the processor.

Re: TSW-1070 Web Browser // 403 Forbidden Error on Specific Site

Hi Danny,

I'm not a certs expert, hopefully you have someone in house that can be more useful than I.

It just came to mind as I have to update a load of PyngHubs with the DigiCertGlobalR2 certificate?recently to get them to talk to the MyCrestron servers. Until I loaded this and rebooted these units weren't able to display or upload config files.

Just a thought.

Cheers,
Tim?

The airport site's certificate? The device's?
We don't touch certs in Crestron devices ever, our use cases don't require it.

Re: RANT: The Dots of Death...

Yes, Where do I send my Invoices???

Re: RANT: The Dots of Death...

Particularly common on code where userproginitcomplete is being driven from fusion but a system hasn't actually been incorporated into a fusion server yet.

Re: TSR-310 - Comcast Driver

Yeah. You have full control via IP and Voice control. I haven¡¯t played with it much yet, but it seemed to work well.

Re: RANT: The Dots of Death...

I only ever see that when the userproginitcomplete portion is being used and the signal connected to it didn't get triggered.

I'm sure that most of you have experienced the "Dots of Death"...
You know, you update the program or reboot the processor and every once in a while, of course when you're trying to get out of a site, this happens:
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
........................................................................................................................................
For 20 to 60 minutes...UGGGHHH!!!!

Has anyone figured out what causes this, and more importantly, how to get out of this???? Clearly this is on Crestron's voluminous 'Never Gonna Fix' list.
And yes, My experience with just rebooting is that you just reset the clock...
