The last program I did with a C52 used the MX132 RS-232 module from the Crestron Database.
Another program with a C53 is just using an SIO. I'm not sure if the strings are from a Denon, but they look familiar - e.g., the Power On command is "(PWR 1)\x0D". I'm sure I still have the protocol document they came from, so send me an email if you need it.
The same program also has an MX123 that uses a Denon AVR-4311CI module.

a request with TB support and have been told to pay a developer to create a
driver
for us for thousands of dollars. I ended up having to create an IR driver
for him
