Re: IC Realtime NVR

I emailed you a document containing settings that worked well with Crestron panels, and other info regarding that encoder.

Tony what settings are you using with that encoder for your Xpanels? Are you
using the video window or dynamic graphics? I may have to go the encoder route
if it works good for Xpanels- dont want to sell the boss and clients on this
extra piece of HW and get subpar results. Only issue I will have is I will now
also need to control the HDMI output of the IC NVR as opposed to grabbing the
dedicated channel stream/snapshot. Normally we allow each interface to pull
whatever stream asked for independent of others, but if we used this for all
panels they would all track each other (as well as any video display watching
cameras) which may or may not be a big deal. Brings me back to the good ol CEN-
NVS200 days.

Re: Remote PC support tool

We use ConnectWise, works well.? Has a cool, extra, feature where to can send a link to someone's phone and see through their camera and talk through the mucrjones as well.

Re: Remote PC support tool

I'm tired of paying TeamViewer extortion too. Do the other solutions have built-in audio calling? I have a client that uses "Splashtop" for remote access, it got the job done. Seems pretty reasonably priced. The first solution I used for remote support was to install "Back Orifice" malware on a PC at every jobsite. The whole "remote support" industry doesn't feel like its 25 years into the future. I mean, its better than 1998, but not by much. Gonna check out Anydesk & simple-help too. Thanks!

That is a good point, personal use only

S# Library Error

Has anyone seen this error before, while compiling in S+?

"Unable to process clz contents"

Thanks

Re: Remote PC support tool

+1 for Anydesk.? I pay for it, but it's way cheaper than TeamViewer wanted to charge for a year.? Works well and can also be branded in paid version.

For free free, look into "UltraViewer".? Site is super sketchy, but works just like TeamViewer and is no charge.? Haven't had my PC get plundered using it, so it is seems legit though.? I just worried to much using and recommending it to clients, so I switched to paid Anydesk instead.

Re: Haiku HaikuFan 2.1 integration no longer works

Found in an old github post.? I'm assuming this is related.

?

https://github.com/bdraco/aiosenseme/issues/25

Per BAF support, the (currently optional) firmware upgrade for the Haikus will use the i6 BAF app to communicate. I have not upgraded my fans, but they are currently planning for a forced upgrade in the fall. BAF have confirmed that the RTI and Control4 integrations will break with this change, and it appears this library will also be impacted.

?

There are instructions to roll back the firmware update but I'll need to get on a client site to verify.

Choose App Settings on the left side barLong press on the app version for 5 secondsFollow the instructions

One time license purchase for SimpleHelp. Run it in the cloud or on your own server. You can even re-brand it with your company logo.

I've found it to be less performant and I definitely don't like the new UI (haven't switched but I'm sure that I'll be forced to soon...)

What are your favorite options today?
TIA!

Re: Anyone noticing slowdowns/failures in loading to 4-series processors lately?

Same, has been very frustrating?. Even worse if you're using more than 1 program slot, can pretty much count on it failing. I'm in the habit of using the?STOPPROG or KILLPROG command every time before I load now

Re: VT-Pro Circular Slider Request

I think that the Application Market has some add'l graphics for SG...not sure if there's the round element that you're referencing...

FYI, HOME is a thing unto itself, it does not use SG...

Re: HR-310 Issue

Make sure you aren't experiencing any wifi interference with the Gateway.? Is there a WAP nearby?? Try changing to channels 25 or 26 on the GWEXER.? I've even had to disable 2.4 radio on WAPs that were installed too close to the GWEXER

Re: HR-310 Issue

Edited

Specifically:
Press-Press-Press-HOLD

Also of course, make sure the target GW is in Acquire mode

Re: Anyone noticing slowdowns/failures in loading to 4-series processors lately?

Just got into the habit of stopping all programs before uploading but yes, it's been like that for the past 6 months or so

Re: HR-310 Issue

It's actually a four press and hold on the last press for about ten seconds until the green led flashes.

Greetings all,

I have a HR-310 that went out and we are looking to use a different remote paired to a different GWEXER to get his master working. I followed the steps to pair with triple tapping the home button and holding but we don't get the green light. Anyone have any tips or has seen this?
