Re: IP Table Offline
#simplwindows
Thanks guys.
I had loopback in the devices as well. What throws me off is that in toolbox when I use easy config cause it wont let me connect to the PRO3 with device discovery that it had 0 entries in the ip table. I loaded the program for the 8th time or so and now its populating. TSR is online and so is the switch. |
Re: IP Table Offline

First off, I am assuming you are using SIMPL and not Crestron Home.
Like Phil said, when you load the PRO3 program, it will take care of the IP table in the PRO3. But you don't use the 127.0.0.1 loopback address in the TSR-310.? Instead you need to manually set the address in the TSR-310 IP table to point to your PRO3.? Also check if you have SSL enabled in the PRO3.? Open a console to the PRO3 and enter SSL That will tell you if SSL is enable or not. If SSL is enabled on the PRO3, you also need to enable it on the TSR310.? Be default, authentication/SSH is enable on the TSR-310 but SSL is turned off. Finally make sure neither the PRO3 or TSR310 is blocking any IP addresses.? Open a console on each and execute listblocked Use theremblocked to unblock any devices.Good luck, Steve Corbin.Lovering@ " Made sure to use the 127.0.0.1 loopback on everything" |
Re: DGE100 browser and touchpanel wake
Doesn?t work unfortunately - same issue. Really weird.
Another approach i wanted to follow is just to hardcode the URL into the VTPro-project. I put an page on the project, then added the embedded browser object with a 0 visibility join, then filled in the desired URL into the object, hoping that this would just load the page and show the embedded browser. Unfortunately, that doesn?t work, either. It shows just the empty page, but not the browser object... |

Don't do anything manual with the IP Table in the processor. The code will take care of that. Add the IP Table entries in your remote devices - have them point at the processor IP address or hostname if you have good DNS.? On Sun, Feb 19, 2023, 10:53 AM <Corbin.Lovering@...> wrote: Hello all,? |
IP Table Offline
#simplwindows
Hello all,?
I'm a complete newbie with zero experience with Crestron products. I managed to crawl my way through P101 and 201 courses and was instructed to not go to 301 or masters without some real experience or I'll be lost and lost I am now. I have a Pro3, CEN-SWPOE-16, TSR310 (wifi) and nothing else to play with. They all have current firmware, I've loaded my project file to the TSR and sent the compiled file to the Pro3. I've verified correct IPID's on all devices. Made sure to use the 127.0.0.1 loopback on everything. It still shows both the switch and the TSR are offline and I can clearly ping all three devices. I have a CP3 as well in case something is wrong with this processor and I was going to try both of my TSW-1060's to test with and see if I could get those online. Is there something I can do, or possibly doing wrong? |

Re: Lutron Grafik Eye QS IR driver
Thanks Jay, but it was a false alarm. 30 seconds after I sent that post, the technician called and said they figured out the problem.

There was a serial adapter plugged into the Grafik Eye, that they later decided not to use. However, no one bothered to disconnect the un-used adapter, which apparently disables the IR jack and sensor. As soon as it was unplugged, the IR commands started working. Hopefully this will save someone else some time in the future. Thanks again. --- On Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 6:12 PM, Jay Basen wrote: |

There are some Grafik Eye codes on Remote Central that might work for you if someone doesn't have a ready made driver. Hope this helps Jay On 2/18/2023 3:08 PM, Tony Golden wrote:

Re: LCD Toshiba
receiving "FF" might be an indication for a wrong baud rate, maybe try different ones.
BTW: you mentioned CEC control earlier, any luck with that? Do you have something like a DM receiver that can insert CEC commands? There are CEC modules in the database, just play with it Best regards Crestronfreak55 |
DGE100 browser and touchpanel wake
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi, ? i?d like to have a DGE100 just display a single webpage. I?ve designed a VTPro project consisting of just a single page with a browser embedded app in it. I?m feeding the desired URL into the app and the webpage is showing up as it should. I?ve tied the ¡°touchpanel sleep/wake¡± Manager for the DGE100 to a motion detector, so that everytime somebody enters the room, the ¡°wake¡± signal is triggered. That works as well, the panel is waking up. However, in addition to waking up the panel, the embedded browser opens a new empty tab. ? Any ideas why this is happening? ? Thanks, Thorsten |
D3 Multiple loads grouped as one
Is there a way to group lighting loads so that D3 shows a single group vs individual loads? Essentially hiding the individual loads and only showing the group for adding to scenes and button presses?
?
for example. I have a project with LED strips in the soffits around a house that I only want to show as a single load but are connected to 4 different modules thought the project.

Re: Custom Edid file?
The barco is just the conferencing system running on multiple Intel nucs. (barco nodes) All linked to one another via network.? Nucs all use a Linux back end with the Barco software up front. You use whatever displays, cameras and audio you want. In our case we are using Samsung video wall displays for the meeting participants, then using a mix of Samsung qb series screens and nec screens for remote presenters, content, preview and confidence monitors.
Each display is connected to its own barco node (nuc) and I know the NUC is capable of this res, but the barco os just doesn't allow you to do it.? I have barco telling me if the node sees this res via edid, it will output what we want.? At this stage extron edid manager looks like it might do what we need.?? |
Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
Steve,
Thank you for following up and supplying the documentation you have. Somfy did respond to me and they also said the high voltage relay interfaces are ESI RP60AU devices.? Based on the documentation you provided they are very similar to the SC1 if not the same thing. On this job there is a small white box (looks like an old phone jack) that has an IR emitter from Crestron stuck to its receiver and then an RJ11 wire running to the high voltage relays. We did learn IR codes from the old Crestron program being shot out that IR port but what we learned aren't discrete nor consistent.? Do you know what IR codes would be used with these devices? In the Crestron database I did find some Hunter Douglas drivers that control up to 10 different shades by ID (1-10) but I haven't had a chance to test them yet. Looking in the Crestron database, files section here, RemoteCentral, etc... for ESI or Draper drivers I don't find anything that would control more than 1 shade. I can post the IR codes we learned in case someone can figure something out that way. Thanks Dorel |
