D3 Multiple loads grouped as one
Is there a way to group lighting loads so that D3 shows a single group vs individual loads? Essentially hiding the individual loads and only showing the group for adding to scenes and button presses?
?
for example. I have a project with LED strips in the soffits around a house that I only want to show as a single load but are connected to 4 different modules thought the project.

Re: Custom Edid file?
The barco is just the conferencing system running on multiple Intel nucs. (barco nodes) All linked to one another via network.? Nucs all use a Linux back end with the Barco software up front. You use whatever displays, cameras and audio you want. In our case we are using Samsung video wall displays for the meeting participants, then using a mix of Samsung qb series screens and nec screens for remote presenters, content, preview and confidence monitors.
Each display is connected to its own barco node (nuc) and I know the NUC is capable of this res, but the barco os just doesn't allow you to do it.? I have barco telling me if the node sees this res via edid, it will output what we want.? At this stage extron edid manager looks like it might do what we need.?? |
Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
Steve,
Thank you for following up and supplying the documentation you have. Somfy did respond to me and they also said the high voltage relay interfaces are ESI RP60AU devices.? Based on the documentation you provided they are very similar to the SC1 if not the same thing. On this job there is a small white box (looks like an old phone jack) that has an IR emitter from Crestron stuck to its receiver and then an RJ11 wire running to the high voltage relays. We did learn IR codes from the old Crestron program being shot out that IR port but what we learned aren't discrete nor consistent.? Do you know what IR codes would be used with these devices? In the Crestron database I did find some Hunter Douglas drivers that control up to 10 different shades by ID (1-10) but I haven't had a chance to test them yet. Looking in the Crestron database, files section here, RemoteCentral, etc... for ESI or Draper drivers I don't find anything that would control more than 1 shade. I can post the IR codes we learned in case someone can figure something out that way. Thanks Dorel |
Re: Controlling a Crestron HD-MD4X1-4KZ-E with a Extron MLC Plus 84 D touch pad using TCP or UDP
Are you working with a 4KZ switcher or a 4k? On the 4kz, the top has been shutdown by the engineers because of security flaws. The "conf output 1 route 1" command works on the 4k but not 4kz. Extron tech support used data viewer to send that command and the 4kz rejected it.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWait so you have the protocol to control that switcher without needing a Crestron controller? Would you mind sharing?Cheers Natalie On Feb 16, 2023, at 2:54 PM, fujiakai@... wrote:

Re: LCD Toshiba
Hi Juan,
that is strange. I found a driver in the Crestron application market (for the whole TD-E series), dated back to 2016. This driver as well states that the communication settings have to be set to serial to make serial control possible. BTW, this driver uses different commands and states that Toshiba Rx pin is pin 2. Don't give up (by Peter Gabriel) and good luck with the Toshiba. Best regards Crestronfreak55 |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou add the device to the system configuration in SIMPL windows. Set the ip address for the device in the device settings. Then you load the program to your processor. The device will not register in the ip table. The sync indicators for the inputs is not reliable but control is fairly reliable using the analog joins.Cheers Natalie On Feb 16, 2023, at 11:44 AM, Seadrunk69 <terence.cmb@...> wrote:

Re: LCD Toshiba
Those are, I suspect, Hex values, not ASCII values.? Have you tried, for instance,? \xBE\xEF\x03\x06\x00\x19\xD3\x02\x00\x00\x60\x02\x00? ? in an SIO? On Thu, Feb 16, 2023 at 4:14 AM Juan Lopez <jlopez@...> wrote: Hi |
Re: Custom Edid file?
Hi CrestronFreak.??
The Samsung has the ability to rotate the image and stretch if required so sending it a res of 1080*1920 does work, ie, a signal from my laptop running that resolution, but I just don't have that level control over the resolution with the barco system..? They have told me they are working on this feature but it won't be ready for my deadline unfortunately!? |
