I have been told that it is possible to connect my Unifi doorbell to my NAX to have it create a chime through out the house on the audio system.? Can someone give me a little guidance on how to make this happen?? Any help would be greatly appriceciated.

For the querier IP, did you use an address in the same segment as the VLAN or one of the multicast type?

Yes, it is only an issue if you have SSL enabled.

Something is missing there I have some iPads running Mobile Pro G on 15.7.1 without issues.
Maybe it only breaks when auth is on?

Yes got this from Crestron.? Mobile Pro G is not supported on iOs 15.3 and above.

Looking for some off topic advice.? We designed a wireless mic solution for a building that is utilizing the Shure MXW mics.? About 45 different channels in multiple rooms in the same building.? We are very familiar with this product and are confident this will work.? With that being said we will be unable to get any of these mics until end of next year, not uncommon these days.? Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the Yamaha Adecia wireless solution.? Is it good, bad or even work for this large of scale?? Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

The problem is we have both HOME and SIMPL projects underway, so we need modules that can play with both.

Through another Crestron support conversation, I was given a script to try that sets the first temp password in one pass, then comes back through and sets the permanent.

I'm hoping to have time this afternoon or tomorrow to test. I'll try to report back with more info once I've tested it.

Has anyone tried this AVR yet? Marantz supports claims they don't have any documentation yet (launch = public beta testing ?) and can only confirm they have web access. I want to assume this means IP control will work but...

My framework does actually used formatted text at runtime to show text in different colours. Sending stuff from the program is great. Just this help page has been a pia.

WMS has a crestron home driver for most Shelly products. I believe there is a demo so you can play with it.?

We use Vantage Controls a lot, they have a variety of din mountable options and have a Crestron module available

Not sure exactly where you are entering your externally-edited HTML, but I've had luck the best luck pasting it directly into the "Label" window in the Property Grid.? Do not open the HTML Editor at any point, and your special formatting should be preserved.

Somewhere along the line I inherited some clever code that has the size and color properties entered as indirect text.? If this is ever opened in the built-in editor, the formatting gets trashed.?

I'm having a hell of a time trying to format HTML on a formatted text object.

The text is a set of instructions that the techs need to follow to enable them to set up Sonos systems during build or on-site.
There are a set of bullet points they need to follow to allow them to configure the Line-In & HDMI inputs and assign to Favorites then save this into the program.
Line one of the instructions should be:
* Ensure the Sonos in this zone is named <S$19?player name> - note text inside <> is underlined as normal.
What I get when I close the html dialog is:
* Ensure the Sonos in this zone is named <<S$19?player name>> - note the double <>

Sometimes I can get line one to format properly and it displays the Sonos player name correctly.
However, there are two more instances in the instructions:
Settings > System - Products: <<S$19?player name>>
and
* Select the 3 dots beside Line In: <<S$19?player name>>

Note the extra <> and these always re-appear as soon as I close the dialog.

I've tried using an external HTML editor and pasting the formatted instructions in that way and VTP went mental.

Have to say this is one of the many VTP bugs that seem to have been ignored by Crestron as they have done nothing to improve VTP in the past few years.
While I was dicking about with this yesterday the auto-save dialog kept getting in the way (as usual), then VTP quit on me as I hit save. 'No bother there's a backup as the auto-save has been pissing me right off - eh'
Nope - no vtp.ASV file anywhere - what gives?


Anyone have any VTP HTML gems they wish to share so that I can strike this off my list?

Thanks Iain. Those commands didn't work for me, but they did nudge me in the right direction.

In case anyone else looks for the answer later, what actually worked was simply entering the strings in the SIO as ASCII characters, without spaces or the \x prefix before each byte.

As an example, the command \x4F\x82\x30\x00 (HDMI 3) would be entered as 4F823000 in an SIO, connected to the Hex_Command input on the "AVProEdge_MXNet_ConfigureRX_CEC_1.6.7" module. That module then generates the command "config set device cec 4F823000 OUTPUT_ALIAS[6];" (this is for output 6) which is sent to the main module's Configure_Rx_Devices input.

Sounds like your client has the Crestron app not mobile, yes the naming is confusing. Unfortunately, you can no longer transfer the license. You can still download the app they have purchased. Go to App Store > Account > Purchased, you can find it and install it from here and mot have to purchase a new license.
