The button feedback does work and is based on the protocol. Setting the button in the QSX program to ¡°dual action¡± is the best way to get the feedback one would expect.

Re: Comm Port Madness
You might be crazy... but you're not the only one.? I've spent embarrassing amounts of time troubleshooting 232 wiring only to discover that I had F6d the COM port symbol. On Mon, Aug 9, 2021 at 10:19 PM ckangis <chris@...> wrote: WOW!! WOWWIE, WOW, WOW!!? |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks everyone. Turned out to be an Installation of simpl, databases and stuff that decided to be broken. Unistalling simpl Windows, crestron DB, device DB and the simpl+ cross Compiler, running some registry cleanup tool and reinstalling the stuff again fixed it. Hey Chris,
It isn¡¯t your dementia ¡ this time! That indeed was an extra special feature that Crestron added to spice up our lives just a bit. They changed the default setting of F9 to be a replace all, and it would do exactly that in our entire program. I really think that Crestron¡¯s just trying to see who¡¯s paying attention! |
Re: Comm Port Madness
WOW!! WOWWIE, WOW, WOW!!?
Dimitri, Thank you, thank you!!? I think that's it... As you may or may not know, F6 is also the short-cut to get the properties of Hardware devices like the serial port settings, TCP clients, EISC, TSW, etc...? (try it..) As you can guess, I use F6 for setting properties all the time, and I NEVER use it to copy signals from in to out (Not that there's anything wrong with that)... So I think what's happening to me is that in my speed, I hit F6 before I've clicked on the port symbol (or it didn't take the first time) and thus I inadvertently move a copy a signal... Thank you again, I thought I was going crazy...:)? ?(most people say I am anyway...HaHa!) |
Re: Analog values coming from an e-cross to the same type of user module are somehow jammed
I seem to remember something like this a year or so ago, where a version of SMW had a new *Feature* on my default that when you changed a signal name, it would change all the other identical signal names to your newly edited name.
I thought it might be in the preferences, but no... Anyone else remember this issue, or is my dementia setting in again??... |

Analog values coming from an e-cross to the same type of user module are somehow jammed
Hi Guys, i got a weird one here. I'm working on my home system, emulating my program for a Pro3 on an RMC3. I got an analogue signal connected to a user module I made for a DSP. There are 21 copies of that user module in this program. Every time I change the value of one of this signals, all the other analogues connected to the same input of the other instances of that user module change as well. In the program to be used, the analogues come from e-cross symbols, which was not the case in my test program. The funny thing is, that the issue does not seem to relate to the crosspoint routing. It's also happening on the same e-cross symbol on different joins. I can't wrap my head around this one. In the little test program it worked fine. Tried to delete the SPI - Folder, but it did not help. Anyone has any ideas what might be causing this?
