Crestron Home OS3 HR remote customization
Hi All,
New to OS3 and trying to customize the button behavior of an HR-150 remote in the system. ?In the Actions & Events -> ?Actions section of setup for the remote, there only appears options for the 8 hard buttons at the top of the remote. ?Is there a way to customize the Power button? ?Right now it only turns the room off. ?I'd prefer to have it toggle the last source on/off, but I don't see an option in OS3 to do this.

Lutron made a change at v15 I think, I know this applies to QS15.4 (RA2 12.7) and newer so if you upgraded Lutron this may be your issue. You can no longer use the default login as you did in the past. You will need to create a new telnet login in Lutron and use that for integration, and it cannot be lutron:lutron.

I always thought the Net light was for Lan activity. Good to know. I¡¯m certain the control subnet/lab ports are correct. I was actually trying to see if I could maybe use the control subnet to at least get something communicating but it seems that both ports are in the same condition.
Also I tried a firmware update and it seems to get hung up on that as well. Seems like this unit will be going on a TrueBlue vacation.

I saw something similar on a CP3N last week where someone had flipped the LAN and CS ports around once I figured out what was going on and swapped things back around everything was much happier. I am pretty sure this will be an RMA but would be great to get resolved without having to send off. This is for an audio system with only a DSP and no mixer, so they are dead in the water. I connected to the DSP and unmuted mics to hold them over, but I¡¯m sure they will be hollering after a day or two¡

Yea I don't get it. Never met anyone that doesn't want all that pesky uptime on their systems haha. Maybe I could sort of understand if you didn't want it running 24/7 if you wanted to save electricity or something or thinking you could extend the life of the processor. But to reboot it just for the hell of it doesn't seem useful.?

I will second what Gablerjohn said I went thru the exact same situation. But if your processor can ping the Lutron even sometimes, then its probably not going to be the license. The few times I had license issues I could never successfully ping the Lutron. Were there any changes on the Lutron side? If they updated the Lutron QS version it may have been to a version that requires something other than the old lutron/lutron telnet login, and you are locking out the comms due to old unsupported credentials.?

Installed two with IP control, no issues. Enable Simple IP control, check that Remote Start is enabled, and off you go. The panel is LG; software and video processing is all Sony.
Serial is not enabled by default on Sony TVs running on the Android platform; enabling RS-232 from the menu is necessary (for models since 2018 at least). If I recall you also select either the physical RS-232 port or CEC in the same menu.
Standard Sony IR codes should also work. If you are hardwiring IR to the jack, make sure that you know the Stereo pinout. I have a generic Sony IR codeset in a URC remote that has worked for several model years now.

I just RMA'd a AV3 because it would stop talking to Lutron.? Delete license, get a new one and everything was good for 6 months until it did it again.? Same fix as before.? They sent me an advanced replacement, which I thought was a bstock, that had a new SN structure.? As of this year and processor that SN starts with a minimum of 20xxxxxx does not require a license.? Easy way to tell if it is the license.? Open a cmd window and ping the Lutron processor, if that is good.? Then open toolbox text console and ping the lutron processor.? I Bet it fails.? Use text console to delete the license, then go through the process of getting a new license.
